Dear Test Subjects,
First and foremost, thank you for playing our game.
Improvements
Player Interaction with Physics Objects
There was some instability when The Subject steps onto a Physics Object.
- Player can step onto Physics Objects with more stability.
- Some adjustments are still being done to improve these interactions.
Input Mapping Options
We received requests to allow the player more options for Control key assignment.
- In the Main Menu, go to Options, and then Input Mapping, to change the buttons/keys.
- We are still improving this feature.
Wallrun Video Tutorial (in-game)
Some versions of The Subject were having difficulty understanding how the Wallrun mechanic works.
- In the Tutorial level’s Wallrun section, there’s a video showing how to properly activate the Wallrun (as well as how ‘not to do it’)
Adjustments
- Player has more air control.
- Speed was slightly increased
Bug Fixes
Moving Platform
- Fixed issue with a level 1 moving platform that behaved inconsistently.
Push/Pull Force
- Fixed issue with activation sound and power level persisting after pausing while using the power and going back to the main menu, and even loading into a new level.
- Decreased full charge time.
- Shortened delay that charged the ability (now it sticks around).
- Fixed invisible objects interacting with the power.
Wallrun
- Fixed issue with camera tilting when activating the ability.
