Maybe you already know that, but the BZZZT game is being developed by one humble artist (me) and one excellent music composer, Martin Linda.
With this project, I wanted to pay tribute to all the much-loved games from the '80s, which I grew on, and they were the main reason I started making games.
So, one day I said to myself: "Wouldn't it be cool to time travel back to the golden era of arcade games and enjoy it again?"
And that day, my indie journey started! It was the beginning of BZZZT development!!!
And because there isn't an army of community managers behind me, I am sharing my solo-dev progress across social media alone. You can find me & my pixel art together with the Bzzzt development on the following platforms:
- Twitter: twitter.com/ko_dll
- FB page: facebook.com/pixelartkodll
- Instagram: instagram.com/ko.dll
- YouTube: youtube.com/c/KODLL
- Patreon: patreon.com/kodll
Here are some examples of animated traps being used in the full game. I am sharing these small gifs weekly so that you can see & discuss the development of Bzzzt almost immediately.
