It's fan-created content week on Radio!

First up we have music from Audiosurf fans and Scottish Band members The Anyways. "Steel String Jockeys" is a fast and twisty ride, and "For Hope" has a double peak shape and fun tempo changes.

Next we have music from The Dark Gigantosaur, recommended by one of our players Pyritie. "Galactic Adventure" has an epic feel to it, "Hungry for Chips" is a nod to video game sound effects, and "Overwhelming Fear" is short with a crazy traffic count. You can go to the Audiosurf steam community page to learn more about this week's artists.

If you have music you'd like featured on Radio, email me at [email protected]. Videos of you playing the song are most helpful.

More info about our radio artists this week:

The Anyways are a Scottish teenage band with an energetic style which bridges the gaps between funk, punk and rock 'n' roll. The current 5-piece lineup (Callum Ally John Jason Goose) was formed in 2008, although three of the members have been playing together in bands for over four years.

Here's what TheDarkGigantosaur has to say for himself:

"I'm just a normal (And creative.) person, living with my family and helping them when needed. Until I get a job, I spend my life in front of my PC. I make music just for fun, not for money, and I freely share my music to my friends (And to people, if they want.).

What makes my music good is the fact that I use plenty of VST plugins (Both instrumental and effects.). My music compositions started many years ago (During the era of the good old DOS.), my music from that time weren't so good--always sounding boring and repetitive--but I kept practicing, and practicing... As the years passed, my music got improved, but not too much. Then I've learned about the "mysterious" VST, and I was surprised by the power of the synthesizers and the effects. Since then, my music just got way better. Of course, I still use instrumental WAVE files for drumloops, sfx, etc..

When I make music, the genres are most likely randomized, because I make music in my own way. But from what the people say, some of my music sounds like electronica. Also, motivation is needed when making music, because I often get really bored, so I must take long breaks. Oh, and I could never sing--I have a very terrible voice!

My favorite music project that I've worked on was the Galactic_Adventure, because I'm very passionate about the space. I'm not sure if you know about Spore and/or other space-like games, but those games have given me a great deal of inspiration, which was enough to make this beautiful space-like music.

I also enjoy making morbid music, though my Overwhelming_Fear music sounded quite destructive. Making intensive music are fun, but quite hard and boring to correct many instruments' volumes when they get too loud.

Another thing I like are the good old gaming consoles, such as Spectrum, C64, NES, etc.. I always liked chiptunes, and I was inspired enough to make Hungry_For_Chips.

And lastly, making music is not just about inspiration, it's about whatever comes from my head."
