Medics on deck - we're demo-ready!
We know you've been waiting for this, Medics. On next week's Steam Next Fest, we're releasing our brand-new demo for Medic: Pacific War! We're bringing you this devlog to prepare you for what's in the demo, what you're about to experience, and what's next!
Medic: Pacific War Demo @ Steam Next Fest
Next week at Steam Next Fest, the new Medic: Pacific War Demo will become available for everyone to play. With a newly-updated engine, renewed mechanics, and fresh visuals & sound, you wouldn't want to miss this!
Here are some of the features you'll experience playing the new Medic: Pacific War Demo:
Unreal Engine 5
Experience the newly-refined Medic: Pacific War experience with the power of Unreal Engine 5. With better graphics, atmosphere, and audio experience, Medic: Pacific War is now equipped to immerse players in the chaos of WWII's Pacific Theatre.
Renewed Treatment Mechanics
You're in World War 2 as a soldier - but with a different purpose. As a Medic, understanding what you need to do to be effective for your allies is a must. Therefore, we made treatment interactions more streamlined and informational to make it treatments more immersive and meaningful than ever before.
A Snippet of Pearl Harbor
Witness the ultimate beginning of World War 2's Pacific Theatre with your boots on the ground. Meant as a tutorial for new and returning players alike, the demo shows a small part of the attack on Pearl Harbor - complete with our depiction of the war's chaos in the air, on land, and at sea.
A Preview of Arena Mode
After the tutorial, go straight into unfamiliar territory with a preview of Arena mode. Taking place on a small part of the Okinawa Arena Map, take control of Pvt. Meyers as you weave through the dangers of open warfare in the hopes of saving the wounded as a Medic. Grab medicaments, treat the wounded, get them into safety, gain experience, and increase your skills & perks - rinse and repeat!
Mark your calendars, grab your gear, and get ready for Steam Next Fest, happening next week - October 13 - 20, 2025.
