I'm slowly chipping away at improvements, and the biggest one in this update is that the menu now has a licensed song from the Montreal-based band Couteau Papillon! For those that are unfamiliar, the band's leader did all the music for Spaceteam, which is one of my all time favorite games. The song I've included, Quetzalcoatl, is a jam that fits the vibe of the game really well.
In terms of bug fixes and improvements:
- Multiple streamers have gotten in-game customizations made for their channel.
- The opening instructions to connect to the Twitch chat are now much clearer.
- After a year and a half, I finally got hovertank damage to animate at the proper speed.
- I fixed the Bombertown sprites showing up in the wrong place.
- The hype quotes have been randomized so they don't all show up at once and look cluttered on the menu screen.
Notice anything that needs correcting? Let me know and I'll add it to the list!
All the best,
-Jaime
