Black Hero Survey Results
The black survey results had a few more surprises compared to the red and green surveys.
Even though Nyx and Death Prophet had good scores overall, it’s clear that they feel too powerful. We think that each could use balance changes to their signature cards to get them in line with other heroes. Other black heroes with strong signature cards (Anti-Mage, Tinker) were heavily underrated. Black heroes might feel better if more of them had their power concentrated in their stats or abilities and less in the strength of their signature cards.
Bloodseeker was the standout in terms of missing the mark - There was a large gap between him and Sniper. The unpredictable nature of his passive ability, the mixed incentive to keep a low health enemy alive, and the lack of Rupture all seem like possible avenues to explore. Sniper, Debbi, and Storm Spirit should be possible to bring into line with small tweaks and buffs.
Here are the heroes which scored the worst in each category.
