Heyo :)
Tthe first update for Gutwhale has just been published!
I hope that steam will automatically update your game, but if you do not see a new loading screen when booting up the game, you have to quickly reinstall Gutwhale :/
This is just a small quality of life update, containing the following things:
- Savegame issue fixed
- Achievement room unlock issue fixed
- Restarting now resets combo, hat & score
- Added quick restart button (R on keyboard / Y on controller)
- Fixed wrong text on restarting with controller
- Added Dpad support to menu
- Added combosystem to nightmare mode
Now I will focus on the bigger tech tasks, such as getting Gutwhale to run reliably on Linux & Max, fixing the arcane controller problem & trying to get steam achievements and cloud save to work!
I am not a good coder, so some of these might not work out or may take some time!
For the new content we have been thinking hard and will probably expand the nightmare world to have its own hat unlock system and its own store as well as Bossfights!
Nothing set in stone there though :)
Thank you for you continued support and have a nice day!
Cheers,
josh
