Hey all! I have migrated the project to a newer version of Gamemaker (what I used to make the game). This will enable me to hopefully make future updates again. There is a bunch of stuff half done, so not all the new things will be available in this build!
If you come across any bugs, let me know in our Discord server or here on the Steam discussions forum.
v1.2.2 update log
new
- 10 new hidden audio emotes
- added dark mode
- a lot of other stuff that's not publicly obtainable right now, so I will add it to future update logs even though technically they're already in the game now
fixes
- fixed level requirement for gear not working
- fixed crash when checking self
- fixed upgraded hand cannons not being able to load or shoot
- fixed the unequip-item-full-inventory dupe bug
- fixed the "getting ripped" quest (also know as the second push up quest)
- fixed enemy weakness/resistance to poison and burn damage not working
changes/balancing
- forest patrol quest (the werebear quest) now has a lvl40 level requirement
- the werebear now despawns when there are no players in the same area
- shoot now does piercing damage instead of blunt damage
- max party lvl is now 20 instead of 19
- red dragon now has a 5% chance to drop gleamblade
- buffed upgraded hand cannon scaling (damage for perfect hand cannon increased 80+25 -> 80+60)
- nerfed agility/avoidance (hitchances will be higher throughout)
- lifted the cap of 20 on the perception stat (PRC) because future bow skills will scale with PRC
- HIDE command now costs 50 mana (up from 10 mana)
misc.
- coin amount in the UI is now displayed with an extra . for every 3 digits to make large numbers better readable
- main chat box is 3 lines taller now
- turned on anti-aliasing for the text so the difference between a's and o's is slightly more readable
- UI now shows a cross in your offhand equipment slot when having a 2-handed weapon equipped
