This is a big update, sorry for the delay! It required extensive development and testing.
Although I have tested it thoroughly, please report any bugs if you encounter them.
This update adds 6 factions and brings faction missions plans, orders, bonuses, etc. There is a lot of content added, it would take over 20 hours to 100% just these new additions!
Of course, completing everything is not the intended way to play.
(Unless you want to 100% everything ːsteamhappyː)
You can continue playing freely, choosing how to spend your time and strategically working toward the rewards and bonuses that best suit your playstyle.
Factions
Six factions have been added to the game, each with a unique identity and playstyle focus:
Celestial Group
Corporate exploration network mapping new worlds, driven by discovery and expansion.
Darkseed
Fringe bio-engineering group experimenting with alien flora to unlock aggressive growth and adaptation.
Earth House
Earth's remaining governance, balancing politics, resource allocation, and survival priorities.
Machina
Industrial powerhouse focused on heavy automation and mining systems.
Helios
Solar engineering faction specializing in radiant power and farming systems.
Technos
Decentralized tech collective developing AI, data networks, and system optimization tools.
Faction Orders
Orders can now come from factions
Completing faction orders awards reputation points with that faction.
Faction Mission Plans
6 new faction aligned mission plans are available when creating a new seed.
Each mission plan is tied to a faction
Complete milestones at 20%, 50%, and 80% to unlock additional faction bonuses
Faction bonuses stack: point-based rewards + mission plan rewards provide two parallel progression tracks
New Faction UI
Factions tab added to the main menu
Track your progress with every faction
Browse unlocked and upcoming bonuses
Ingame faction panel integrated into the mission screen for your active faction mission plan.
