Flash Snooker has received a major update with a redesigned lobby, improved tournaments, Steam integration, new graphics, and extensive performance work.
• Completely redesigned lobby with clearer navigation, improved player and table lists, player search, room selection, and updated settings.
• Major tournament upgrades, including improved tournament presentation, smoother entry and match handling, automatic cross-lobby invitations, and better support for tournament progression.
• New cross-lobby invitation system. Players can now accept invitations and move directly to the correct room and table.
• Steam Rich Presence now shows whether friends are in the lobby, practicing, at a table, or playing a match.
• Invite Steam friends directly from the table Settings screen. Accepted invitations can launch Flash Snooker and take the player directly to the correct table. Full or active tables are joined as a spectator.
• New and updated graphics throughout the title screen, lobby, menus, dialogs, tables, and promotional screens.
• Improved Windows presentation timing for smoother ball movement, scrolling, and other animations, especially on multi-monitor systems.
• Added fullscreen controls to the in-game Settings menu.
• Improved Windows focus handling to prevent flickering or black flashes when switching between applications.
• Numerous client and server performance improvements for faster updates, smoother gameplay, and more reliable connections.
• Improved table transitions, reconnect handling, tournament transfers, invitation handling, and lobby synchronization.
• Updated onboarding and first-shot guidance for new players.
• Improved Settings layouts and controls, including easier access to replays, Steam invitations, fullscreen mode, and exiting the game.
• Fixed numerous visual, interface, gameplay, networking, and stability issues.
