May 2026 Update
Welcome to your GameGuru MAX update announcement. It has been a quiet month for fixes, with the main activity being on refining issues and working through them to ensure we can easily reproduce the bugs for a quick fix.
In the EARLYTEST and DEVTEST builds, you will find a variety of improvements across behaviors, scripting, visuals, and bug fixes to enhance your game development experience. Bug Fixes & Stability
Several important bug fixes have been applied to improve game stability and user interface behavior. Loading a saved game no longer causes the level to repeat upon hitting the winzone, and UI elements now correctly stay within screen bounds when running on non-primary monitors.

- UI fix: Prevents UI elements from appearing outside the screen on non-primary monitors.
If you have posted a bug report in the past, you may find we have posted a question there and are awaiting an answer, so it would be great if you could check back in and help us find your issue, and if it still exists. We usually clear out older reports after a year or so, as we find the older bugs get fixed.
We also wanted to give a massive shout-out to Tom at Blood Moon Interactive for his amazing series of entertaining videos on GameGuru MAX Behaviors. This is a resource you seriously cannot afford to miss, and you can learn more about his efforts and YouTube channel from his official website here: https://www.bloodmooninteractive.com/
Also new in May was the brand new pack Medieval Props from the very talented MonkeyFrog Studios. This high-quality pack provides a host of new themed assets, and we're sure that we'll be seeing more of MonkeyFrog again soon. Check it out here:

Also, progress on the DX12 version continues slowly and steadily, with early grass rendering now working with the terrain and grass painting data. Still needs adjustments to density, scale, orientation, texture choices, motion, fall off at distance, and to make sure there is a strong matchup with your existing level visuals, but the early progress has confirmed the new Wicked grass is very performant and has the capability to look awesome!

Finally, we are very pleased to announce our Live Broadcast on our YouTube channel that will take place on Saturday, 20th June 2026, starting at 7 PM. Feel free to pre-ask your questions for the event, and email them to [email protected]
