Hello survivors.
The second major update for Derange is now live on Steam. This update includes some further minor tweaks to combat and gameplay mechanics, as well as fixes for issues identified by the community.
The update includes the following changes:
- Taking damage from an enemy now makes you immune to further attacks for 60 frames, giving you some time to try and escape if you've been cornered.
- The damage and HP values of some enemies have been slightly tweaked on different Hive Mind AI levels.
- The Hive Mind AI has been slightly tweaked so that it will not flip rapidly between modes as often.
- A rare bug that would make Jessica's sprite invisible when finishing the prologue has been fixed.
- The cutscene with Marcus outside of the Art Gallery will no longer lock your character's facing to a single direction.
- A bugged variation of the clock puzzle has been fixed.
- Some doors and item pickups that were not functioning correctly have been fixed.
We are also aware that Steam achievements may not be properly triggering for some players. We are looking into this and will address it in a future update.
