Konata, Crown Princess of Kozan
Greetings Chuhou Joutai players. Even though the game has only been out for a week, the version 1.2.0 update is here, and what's new to the game is below.
Kagami Ochiai is now on the player 1 side!
When we were reading reviews, we noticed a lot of gripes about Kagami Ochiai being on the player two side. Initially, when the game started development, we wanted Driller to be used only by player 1 and Kagami for the second player. The truth is, we can't simply create whatever we want. We have to reflect player feedback to ensure they get the best possible experience. Our goal is to get Chuhou Joutai to sell so we can make another game like this, and the only way we can do that is with feedback.
Heal Berries will now be dropped more often
Despite this being a game for newcomers to the danmaku genre, some players complained about wanting more heal berries, particularly for the bosses of Amy Fawkes and Damausagi. We threw them in now. In addition, enemies will now drop Heal Berries for you to collect. However, we made some minor tweaks to them. If you don't collect them within 20 seconds, they will disappear just like newtons and ingots do. We have this in place to save memory and prevent the game from overwhelming your PC.
Difficulty balancing is a chore. We have to ensure that all stages are beatable by removing certain enemies that make certain parts too difficult.
Anything else we need to fix?
If there are more things you want fixed in the next update, please let us know by replying to this message. Please note we might not be able to accept all requests, but we'll do the best we can. Also, while the Japanese translation is very accurate, it is not perfect and if you find any mistakes, please let us know as well!
Have a good day in Kozankyo!
