I spent a few days overhauling the way the game handles the sizing of textures internally for the world and sprites... allowing the game to retain certain pixel sizes, such as the default 32x32, but also paving the way for handling zooming in/out as they're no longer hardcoded to any particular size. The menu/buttons resolutions were also completely overhauled and decoupled from world/sprite texture size to scale them to the resolution independent of the world/sprite size.
This overhaul has touched nearly every facet of the game as things had to be handled in a completely different way for stuff like maintaining the same movement distance/timing of NPCs at different scales. There's a good possibility I missed something during testing that isn't scaling as it should or that might just look really off, so please let me know if anyone spots an obvious bug while playing around with the zooming or if things are looking really bad at a particular resolution.
I currently do not own a 4k monitor, so I can't test the game at those resolutions, but hopefully being able to zoom in now will help with things appearing so tiny at much higher resolutions.
