First and foremost, we'd like to welcome Word Cascade into the Infini<> games family we develop by re-titling it InfiniWordSlide.
Second, InfiniWordSlide, with the completion of the features listed below becomes gold (reaches version 1.0). It means that all planned features are now in the game. This does not, however, mean that a bug found won't be squashed or that additional features won't be added, just that this game now has fulfilled its original design.
-4 game modes as envisioned with their difficulties calibrated
-The ability to easily add a language/a local language with full localisation
-Detailed UI, yet clean UI
-A mouse only gameplay if desired
-Easy to enjoy/customise/disable background music
-Easy to enjoy/customise/disable backgrounds
-Ability to customise one's own dictionary to fit a person's dialect or a dictionary's weakness
Now, it goes without saying that a game is nothing without its community, but we'd like to thank by name Urbigene and Dohi64 for helping us squash bugs right, left and centre as well as honing our design for this game. They both were hugely helpful in reaching this milestone and reaching it this quickly. Thank you both.
