Hello there 👋🏻,
StellarX 1.35.0 brings updates to VR interactions, a new node, and bug fixes.
⚠️ Important – VR Grab Controls Update
The VR grab controls have been updated.
The grip button is now the primary button for grabbing assets, while the trigger remains used for laser and UI interactions.
Play Mode
Use the grip button to grab assets.
The trigger is used for UI and laser interactions.
Create Mode
Assets can be grabbed directly using either the grip button or trigger.
The trigger is used for raycast and far interactions.
Space gripping and avatar resizing remain mapped to the grip buttons.
Desktop controls are unchanged.
New Features
Two-Handed Asset Grabbing
Assets can now be grabbed and manipulated with both hands.
Set Teleportable Node
The new Set Teleportable Node allows creators to control whether an asset can be used as a teleportation surface.
Improvements
On Trigger Press Node
The On Hands Trigger Node has been renamed to On Trigger Press to clarify its purpose and avoid confusion with the On Hands Collision Node.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where players joining a Multi Create session after changes were saved could see some assets at the world origin instead of their updated positions.
Fixed an issue where Transform Reference Nodes could incorrectly behave as 3D Object Reference Nodes after leaving and re-editing a Space.
Fixed an issue where changes to a snapped asset's position were not properly synchronized for players joining a multiplayer session.
Fixed an issue in the Airdock template where doors could be teleported when opened.
