Hero Index just see its first major update "Escort". It comes with 2 new mission mode, 2 new space environment, optimized gesture control, refined in-game UI. The new content is supposed to significantly improve user experience and replayability of Hero Index.
"Escort" is named after one of the new mission mode included in this update. In Escort mode, you need to escort the battleship to the escape point. It is pretty challenging to protect your ship from dozens of enemy fighters.

GENERAL
In-game UI is implemented.
Tutorial is redone to reflect gesture command change, and rearranged to a more understandable way.
Gesture recognition is redone in a more robust way to reduce recognition failure.
NEW MISSION
Two new mission mode : Encounter, Escort
The origin mission mode included in early version is renamed to Endless.
FLYING CONTROL
Speed control optimized. Now when sliding on trackpad, speed changes in a more coherent way.
Thumbstick can also be used to control flying. Touch thumbstick to trigger flying. Pull down to control speed.
As thumbstick is occupied, there are also some changes happened to weapon gestures. Refer in-game tutorial for more information.
WEAPON
Now if use Lightning when no target is in range, an visual effect will appear on the hand to indicate the Lightning is fired.
