We've done it!

But that's not all - we've been hard at work getting the game ready for release on console and that work means benefits for PC players. Today we've also launched our latest patch that not only improves a ton of stuff but also adds a brand new weapon.
Here's what's new:
New Stuff
- Introducing the NERD gun! This brand new weapon has a chance to appear when smashing open purple chests. While not as powerful as a real gun, it looks and sounds cool - and what's more important than that?
Better Stuff
- The 'thought bubble' system we use for our mutant animals was previously a little heavy on the CPU. Now, we've managed to make it be handled entirely by the GPU, so players should see an increase in performance.
- Speaming of performance - we received a few reports of small framerate drops whenever Tony speaks. Tony's words are very important, so we've optimised his text and made it all more efficient.
- Jumping! We've made sure that jumping feels better and snappier than before. So if you've been struggling to make a long jump or to reach dizzying heights, try again - it should all feel a lot better now.
Bug Fixes and Stuff
- We fixed an issue where players would walk on the spot after jumping into the garbage truck. So long, running man.
- Tony sometimes had a visual issue on his face when he spoke. As Tony is undoubtably too handsome to be covered up, we had to fix this immediately. Now you can see Tony in all his glory at all times - you can relax now, Tony fans.
- Some areas have been tightened up so that critical items can no longer get stuck on the environment.
