We learned a lot with what went right, and terribly wrong, from Miscreation. With Strange Seed, we're very much making a spiritual successor where we try to improve on the entire concept of a creature evolution RPG.
... also, did you notice that we're practically the only studio making creature evolution RPGs? There aren't a lot of role models out there, so we really need your feedback! We will be making changes based on what our early demo players ask for.
