Hi Synth Mappers! We have been working hard on our editor and have quite a few updates for you that should make it more easier to create and edit your Synth Riders maps:
- Mirror Function: CTRL + ALT + LMB now allows you to mirror the selected note
- Object Scrolling: TAB now allows you to select the type of object that you want to use to navigate the timeline
- Enhanced Copy Paste: this is now supported in multiple ways; CTRL+V pastes the content normally while ALT+V pastes the content and inverts the colors/positions of the objects
- Enhanced Bookmarks: There is now a scrollbar to navigate the timeline and more easily find your bookmarks
- Note Type Changes: SHIFT + LMB you can change the color (type) of the note selected
- Last Note Shadow: By pressing on Q you can toggle the visualization of the last note placed
- Live Placing Notes: By pressing on N you can now place a note placeholder while the song is being reproduced
- Keyboard Only Edition: You can place and select notes using your keyboard (WASD or the arrows) while you are pressing the N key
- Enhance Stats Windows: By pressing the F12 key you can see song stats and the level of difficulty in which you are working on
- Snap Editing Plane to Note and Snap Note to Editing Plane: ALT + RMB takes you to the note editor plane of the note you selected and by pressing on ALT + LMB you can take the selected note to the editor plane
- Placed Notes Edition: ALT + LMB allows you to move the position of the notes, also allowing you to move nodes of long note lines (or ‘rails’) to change the way in which the line is built
- Flip Notes: By pressing on F you can invert the position of the selected Notes
- Remote Note Delete: CTRL + RMB allows you to remotely delete notes
Important warning: once you open a track with the latest editor 1.9 version, you cannot open the track with previous versions of the editor. The game itself currently supports tracks made with both, the new 1.9 version and version 1.8.
Happy mapping!
