The martial world is once again in turmoil as the Four Ancient Sects, silent for centuries, reemerge from seclusion!
The Golden Cauldron Divine Cult
has preserved its legacy for over a thousand years. Renowned throughout the martial world for its mastery of alchemy, its elixirs are said not only to greatly enhance one's cultivation, but also to include a legendary pill capable of granting immortality. Such a treasure has drawn fierce competition from martial artists, and even the Imperial Court has begun investigating them—for who could resist the temptation of eternal life? Thus, several centuries ago, they withdrew completely from the martial world.
The Gongshu Clan
traces its ancestry to the legendary craftsman Lu Ban. They are masters of ingenious mechanisms and deadly traps. Though they never involve themselves in the conflicts of the martial world, they manufacture and sell mechanical devices to every faction alike. Righteous or evil—it makes no difference. As long as the payment is sufficient, they will build it. Rumor has it they amassed wealth rivaling an entire nation long ago. Even today they continue their trade, albeit far more discreetly.
The Dustless Ark
is a mysterious seafaring tribe. Although they have long secluded themselves from the martial world, they still dispatch members ashore from time to time. It is said that their feet must never touch the dust of the earth—just how they travel remains a mystery. Legends also speak of a sacred water in their possession, capable of cleansing all manner of poisons and toxins.
Thousand Hammers Manor
is known to all, yet entered by none! Every martial artist knows that beyond Mount Tianmu lies Thousand Hammers Manor, where countless legendary weapons have been forged. Yet an immense Iron Veil stands before it. For hundreds of years, no one has ever succeeded in forcing their way inside.
