It's been a busy and exciting few weeks since the launch of Echo Generation 2.
We've released multiple patches, fixed issues reported by the community, launched the OST, got Steam Deck verified, and had the opportunity to celebrate alongside players and fellow devs during Toronto Games Week.
A huge thank you to everyone who has played the game, shared feedback, posted screenshots, streamed their adventures, and helped us improve the experience since launch.
Seeing Echo Generation 2 projected onto Toronto's waterfront during the "Giant Video Games" was a special moment for our team, and we're grateful to everyone who has supported the game throughout launch month.
We're also thankful for the kind words we've received from players and critics:
"Echo Generation 2 is an excellent game that both newcomers and fans of the original should play."—Gamergrin
"This is a contender for Game of the Year so far for me." — I Dream of Indie Games
"It’s visually spectacular, the soundtrack is brilliant, the characters are charming, and it has an enjoyable combat loop." — Use A Potion
"The perfect game with a lighter RPG take and a very cool story heading into the summer months." —Console Creatures
"I absolutely loved Echo Generation 2 and it will undoubtedly be on my Game of the Year list for 2026." — ZTGD
As we wrap up launch month, the Cococucumber team will be taking a short summer break before returning in August.
We'll continue keeping an eye on reports and community discussions, though responses may be a little slower than usual while the team takes some time to recharge after launch.
Thank you again for being part of this journey!
If you've been enjoying Echo Generation 2, we'd be grateful if you'd consider leaving a Steam review or updating an existing one. Your reviews help other players discover the game and support our continued work on future updates.
We'll see you in August.
