Two years of The Crimson Diamond!!

I can't believe it's been two years since The Crimson Diamond launched. Time flies with alarming speed. I'm hanging on tight, and I hope you are, too.

The Crimson Diamond is STILL rated Overwhelmingly Positive, now with more than 600 Steam reviews. If you've enjoyed it, please leave a little review! Maybe the game will have more than 700 Steam reviews by its 3rd anniversary!

This is the first game I've ever made. It holds a very special place in my heart, so I like making its birthday very special. Please read on for more details!

More details!

  • The Crimson Diamond has been updated! Minor bug fixes, Nancy can now ask some characters about ducks, and a few other small things. Patch notes can be found here (warning: spoilers!).

I'm also currently making a tiny prequel game called "The Deadly Bluff: A Mini-Maple Mystery" (working title). It features double-wide pixels and the same EGA palette and text parser from The Crimson Diamond! It's set in Nova Scotia in the late 1800s and is inspired by a rockhound tour I experienced a couple years ago. Stay tuned!

If you'd like to keep up to date on what I'm up to, you can subscribe to the Crimson Gazette, watch my streams on Twitch (8pm Eastern on Tuesdays), and/or subscribe to my Youtube channel!

Happy 2nd anniversary to The Crimson Diamond!!
