Hello everyone,

We did not survive until 2025, ECS is shutting down, we tried to survive 2024 with work for hire, but unfortunately got screwed by bad faith business partners, we can't go into details publicly, but in short we were taken advantage of from bigger actors whilst doing work for hire.

This is too raw for us to write a grand eulogy, it did not end on a happy note or in a calm manner, due to the above reason. We did our best to provide for our colleagues whilst shutting down (in accordance with Swedish labour laws), but now we are no more. This means Shallow Waters or any ECS games will not happen and this is the last communication, we just felt that our fans could get some sort of official confirmation so you don't have to wonder.

Our games will be online for now, but we don't know for how long, you are free to back them up in accordance with Steam's guidelines..

Thank you for sticking with us, we're sorry, goodbye.

Regards,
ECS
