Hey guys,
Here is a summary of what happened from the last patch announcement on Steam.
I used to write more often them here, but since Steam has this new system - that I need to add promo-images for each new announcement, check few boxes before and after I have added images - it takes extra time to do it, so I do not post minor updates anymore on Steam.
But I do post each update in Discord and Reddit instead - since it just plain text, and separated posts with gifs about new stuff.
I work alone on this game, so it is essential for me to dedicate most of my time to develop new stuff for my games, instead of trying to make nice Steam posts. To make store pages better - with gifs and stuff - my next task on my todo list. Currently, I think, my Steam store pages - are the ugliest ones around here. I'll fix that soon, I hope!
Big changes in Roal Merchant:
Gladiator Arena - a place where you can put out your team against other player teams. In short: 3v3 PvP.
Participating in Arena consumes Arena Ticket, which regenerates every few minutes. You get diamonds and honor points for winning opponents.
I put on hold championships - but once few more players will join in - every 4 days - most prestige Gladiators will get extra diamonds and honor points.
Honor points can be used for extra slots in prestige. I'll add later options to buy new stuff with honor points - gladiator pets and some heroes.
Slave Market - a place where you can buy and sell slaves. You can also enslave your heroes here. Why Enslave? In the next update, all your slaves will be taken to the new lands with you. Slaves can only fight in Arena. And you can sell and buy them from other players. They carry their items with them - in preview before buying - you can see slave stats and items.
If someone is selling a Necro - he is carrying all his souls with him. Also, since we all Merchants here - I think this game needs a Slave Master. But I still considering his skills. Should he train some arena skills? Or re-craft items with arena bonuses? Or change DNA of fighters? Should he be a 'crafter' or a 'hero'? His payment definitely should be honor points. If you have an idea or request for him - let me know.

I'll add some simple stuff - like buffing your gladiator's dmg and dodge and some other stats. But if you have something special for gladiators - let me know. I'm craving to code something complex =)
What else in my road map for Royal Merchant for the next updates? Spells, Crafter Tiers, More Achievements, More Castle Rooms.
