Watkin Jones was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. With his family’s wealth, they were able to afford to travel across the nation. From his parents’ travels, his father would get him all the books about the Japanese art of self-defense whenever he gets the chance.
Fueled by his fascination and passion with martial arts that he got from these books, on his 20th birthday, he decided to travel across the globe to Japan. There, he sought a master that can teach him to be a true warrior.
He spent ten years learning how to attack and defend with incredible skill and precision. His master, a cheerful but stern older man, gave him an extraordinary rifle that can hit a moving target even from afar. His wise master also enlightened him before his graduation, a unique meditation technique that a warrior can use to defeat his true enemies. By meditating by a river, a true warrior will see his enemy’s lifeless body float downstream. It is an ancient technique that is both deadly and peaceful.
Watkin came home from his travels from the East one day, and a devastating revelation struck his warrior’s heart. He found out that the bandit leader, Pugach, killed his parents on the road. They ambushed their carriage, robbed them blind, and shot them in point-blank.
Filled with rage and confusion, this young warrior can be seen day and night, meditating by the river, carefully listening to the sound of the water, and vigilantly waiting for Pugach’s body to float by.
Suppose you happen to see this weary warrior by the river, Chief, tread lightly. His eyes may be closed, but his aim is true.
