1.The mkv file is now played by Vlc Player.
Previous versions of .mkv were played with Windows Media Player.
However, there were compatibility problems with various video formats.
To resolve compatibility issues, the .mkv file is now played by the VLC Player.
VLC Player does not support hardware acceleration.
The .mkv file can cause problems at resolutions over 4k.
.mkv files are recommended for movie of 2k or less.
