Since the release of our first demo during the Steam Game Festival in June, we have been hard at work and are eager to show you what we haven been working.
Daily Challenge
While the previous demo showed you the Rise of Humanity story-mode, we now introduce you to the Daily Challenge mode.
In our Daily Challenge, you play through 3 randomly generated missions with 3 heroes with a daily generated set of 3 Battle Conditions, modifiers that will make the challenge easier or harder!
Playing the Daily Challenge gives you a score on our Leaderboards, where players can compete daily and monthly.
Win a T-shirt in our Daily Challenge
To celebrate this significant addition to the game, we will be holding a competition on Friday (23rd).
All you have to do is play the Daily Challenge on Friday. The highest ranking players will get a Rise of Humanity T-shirt sent to them!
Other features
If you played the previous demo, you will notice quite a few other improvements:
- The addition of a new environment, the Quarry.
- A lot of new Quality-of-Life features, including
- an improved UI,
- easily recognisable icons for game penalties and bonuses,
- the possibility to check opponent card decks
- and of course, a lot of bug fixing
That said, the game is still only an alpha demo and will contain bugs, that might cause hangs.
