New Rick Henderson Game is Coming!
Hey everyone! Whether you've been here since the Early Access days back in 2020 or just discovered Rick Henderson recently, I wanted you to be among the first to know what's next for the franchise.
I'm excited to officially reveal Rick Henderson: Eternal Arena!
Same DNA, new arena
The original Rick Henderson was a horizontal-scrolling shmup built as a love letter to 16-bit classics. Eternal Arena keeps retro pixel-art heart and spirit, but reimagines it as a top-down roguelite arena shooter, inspired by classics like Crimsonland and Bitblaster.
Pick your pilot and find your perfect build
Upgrade your ship, guns, and drones
Burn, freeze, electrocute, slow time, and chain combos against waves of enemies
Short, intense gameplay built for "one more run"
Built solo, with love, and with you
Just like the original, Eternal Arena is being made solo, with the community helping shape balance and content through Early Access. If you stuck around for Rick Henderson's journey, you know how much that feedback matters.
Wishlist it now and try out the demo!
Wishlisting is the single biggest thing you can do to help a solo dev. Wishlisting costs nothing and tells Steam (and me too) that people are excited. You'll also be the first to know the moment Early Access goes live.
Thanks for flying with Rick all this time.
