Greetings, everyone! :lunar2019piginablanket:
With your continued support and putting good words on Magic Borderless, we decided to never give up on games that are extremely stingy to work with. However, our results have been miserable ... until we decided to harness the Dark Magic.
Yes, with our latest update, Magic Borderless will be the first software to work on very tricky games like LET IT DIE. This improved magic has been tested to work with even more games than any other algorithm known to the mankind (probably). Don't worry, the Dark Magic* we harnessed is safe and legal.
We noticed there are some users who really wish to use Magic Borderless in their language. Sadly we couldn't afford any translators, but what we could do is to start working on Steam Workshop so the community members could help each other. It's not done yet, but we have started working on it. In preparation of the Workshop feature development we properly integrated Steamworks.
We would like to thank our beloved users who purchased our product. If you like Magic Borderless, we humbly ask you to leave a positive review and spread the words.
*The Dark Magic we used actually does not do anything dangerous or risky or dark or resourceful or something bad according to our Dark Magic expert Derek.
v0.94 Update Notes
- Integrated Steamworks in preparation for custom translation Workshop support and Achievements. For those who do not want this, you can disable it to behave just like before.
- Harnessed some ancient dark magic (but incredibly safe and legal) to significantly improve the compatibility of borderless magic. Such power can now even be used on extremely stingy games like LET IT DIE and use "non-standard" (e.g. uiltrawide) resolutions on tricky games like Pool Panic.
- Items in the list now horizontally stretch, allowing you to click on the empty area to select them as long as it's on the same row.
- Updated Magic Borderless app icon.
- Updated some localization strings.
Update Notes since v0.93
- Added an experimental (but safer) algorithm to save files as reports suggest Microsoft's default XML saving method can be unreliable. We didn't want to take chances.
- Configuring it to "Ignore" now intuitively locks all other Magic controls in the Magic Settings windows.
- Pressing "Esc" now clears the search bar and frees the focus.
- Improved multiwindow process tracking algorithm.
- Improved the strength of Window Magic on games that attempt to fix their resolutions when we apply custom window sizes.
- Added tab navigation for when your mouse suddenly breaks out of nowhere and you can only use your keyboard or something. This is a built-in behavior of Windows UI. We just filtered out some unnecessary UI elements so you don't have to tab through them.
- Added Hotkey label to the context menu as v0.93 removed the Ninja Mode tip.
- Fixed a bug where if the app is ever migrated, a useless duplicate setting may be created in the file.
- Fixed empty clones of windows showing up in the configured windows.
