Start repair now brings a failed server back within minutes. This release also fixes more than twenty problems with capacity, customers, traffic and the console. Fixed Repairs and failures Start repair brings a failed server back. It returns minutes after the work order ends, unl
Failures now hurt only the traffic and servers they touch, and big dedicated servers no longer stutter when one fails. Lamps, spread advice and placement reasons read the same on every screen. Fixed Network and failures A busy switch only fails traffic that crosses it. A saturate
Host pools and the capacity chart now agree with where work can really run, and load balancer requests add load balancers. Ports, cable colours, CDN load and rack power all read true. Fixed Customers and capacity An Everyone pool leaves VRF tenants on their own servers. Adding a
Quotes now match the bill, a server with two network cards runs active and standby, and moving site keeps what you paid for. Joining a friend no longer freezes the loading screen. Changed Four customer types now want a SIEM before they sign. Enterprise pilots, government contract
Large sites no longer freeze for about a second when the game moves a workload, you change a cable, or you rename a device. A Kubernetes cluster short of a node now gets it once a server has room. Fixed Performance Workload moves no longer freeze large sites. Draining a server no
Re-cabled and new network links now carry traffic without a reload, and servers no longer fill up with room nothing uses after loading a save. On Hard, the shop shows what you actually pay. Fixed Networking Restored or new cabling carries traffic straight away. Pulling one of two
You can now buy flood protection from your carrier, so a DDoS is scrubbed before it reaches your lines. Multi-AZ customers also stop running two copies of every VM. Added Flood protection A new Flood protection page is listed under Internet. It shows the capacity you are protecti
Losing a machine now costs you capacity instead of your customers' demand, and the survivors carry the extra. Traffic has priorities, big datacentres run about three times faster, and a customer's p99 clears within minutes of recovering. Changed Failure and recovery Losing a mach
Workload moves now run over time through one queue you can watch and control. Network and billing figures are corrected throughout: bonds, dead internet lines and unit conversions all read wrong before. Added Moving workloads Moves happen over time, and you can watch them. A move
Traffic between buildings now crosses a trunk per pair and raises an incident when a link fills. Customers grow their traffic over their life, and your dashboards can read the whole site. Added Between buildings A full link between buildings raises an incident. Each direction of
The ops console and the wall displays are rebuilt, and big sites run smoother. Every page is one laptop screen from the same parts, lists stay short at a thousand hosts, and opening a chat no longer freezes the game. Added Ops console The ops console is rebuilt. Every page is one
Server memory now means something. The compute line carries the memory a compute box should, new customers arrive who need real memory hardware, and the crash v0.1.63 closed on alt-tab is closed everywhere else. Added Three customers who want memory, not cores. A scale-out databa
A crash on alt-tab is closed, and cable-management pricing reads right again. Fixed Alt-tabbing back into the game no longer crashes. Menus left a text-repaint hook behind when they closed, and the next language or engineer-mode change could run it against a menu that no longer e
Hotfix for v0.1.61: you can move again. Every load and every new game on v0.1.61 left the cursor free and the player frozen in place. Fixed You can walk and look again after loading in. v0.1.61 counted a hidden debug overlay as an open menu on every shipped build, so the cursor w
An attack now hits one zone's internet edge instead of every zone at once, and each zone under fire gets its own incident. The shop is a list of rows with a picture and the numbers that matter. Changed Attacks An attack lands on one zone. A flood arrives over that zone's carrier
Large sites run at full speed again: a campus was sending a quarter of a megabyte every tick for port lights. Arms Race finishes at the campus for earlier winners, and J-hooks go up after a move. Fixed Large sites no longer crawl. Since v0.1.53 every port light flicker re-sent it
You can now run a dedicated server of your own and join it from the game. The campus robot stays on the map, and a server can no longer run on memory it does not have. Added Run a dedicated server of your own. Uptime Dedicated Server is a free tool on Steam. It keeps a world runn
Hardware breaks now. Parts wear out on every rack device, and each console gets a Repair tab to order the replacement and fit it. Added Parts wear out and fail. Supplies, fans, disks, memory and processors on every server, switch, gateway and firewall have their own life, shorten
The campaign continues past the data center to a three-building campus, each building with its own delivery zone and robot. Streamer mode hides Steam names and avatars so a capture does not out you or your friends. Added The campus A new site with three separate buildings. Pick C
