🐶😺 WHO LET THE CARDS OUT?
Yes, yes, the boffins down at the Exploding Kittens Emporium might be a bit old and crusty, but you know what isn’t? The expansion that rounds out the Explosive Expansion Pass – the Barking Kittens Expansion!
The latest expansion to hit Exploding Kittens® 2 brings eight new cards and a MIGHTY ELEVEN NEW DECKS to play with!
Meet the swanky new digital cards:
Bury – End your turn by secretly putting the next card you draw back into the draw pile as if you had defused it.
I’ll Take That – Put this card in front of another player to steal the next card they draw from the draw pile.
Tower of Power – Anyone who steals a card from you blindly steals from inside the Tower of Power Crown instead.
Alter the Future NOW – Privately view and rearrange the top three cards of the draw pile.
Personal Attack – Play this attack on yourself and take three turns in a row.
Potluck – Starting with you and going around in the direction of play, each player with cards puts one face down on the draw pile.
Share the Future – View and rearrange the top three cards in the draw pile, then show the cards to the next player.
Barking Kitten – When played, if anyone has another Barking Kitten, they explode (or defuse). Otherwise, keep it in front of you, and it becomes a target when another one is played.
Did we mention this expansion has eleven additional decks too? Because it has eleven more decks. Eleven. Decks.

Content sharing is coming to Exploding Kittens 2!💥
What does that mean, we hear you cry! Well, basically, it means that you can share your expansions with buddies who don't own them when you're the host, so you can all enjoy a game together with those brand-spanking-new cards.
We’ve put together this FAQ to clear up all your questions and help you get the most out of your shared chaos sessions.
How do I play Exploding Kittens® 2 with my friends?
It’s easy to play Exploding Kittens® 2 with your friends!

Click “PLAY”.
Click “PLAY WITH FRIENDS” (make sure you’re signed into Bubble!).
Click “CREATE A GAME” to host a game.
Share the room code found on the top right of your screen with your friends. Alternatively, click “INVITE FRIEND” to invite a Bubble or Steam friend directly.
If you’re the one receiving a code, follow steps 1 and 2, then enter the room code into the “JOIN GAME” box.
Everyone needs to own a copy of the Exploding Kittens® 2 base game to play.
Can we play the expansions together?
Yes, you can play any Exploding Kittens® 2 expansion in “PLAY WITH FRIENDS” mode.
What if one of us doesn’t own the expansion? Can they still join?
Yes! So long as the person who owns the expansion hosts the game, they can share the expansion with their friends in “PLAY WITH FRIENDS” mode. All you need to do is make sure the expansion owner is the one who clicks “CREATE GAME”. This is called “content sharing”.
Which expansions does this work with?
All of them!
Can I use content sharing online with random players/others or just with friends?
You can only share your expansions via “PLAY WITH FRIENDS”. Anyone who enters your room code can share your expansions for that match. You cannot share content via “PLAY WITH OTHERS”.
Can I use this with cross-play?
Yes, you can!

Each expansion comes jam-packed with new content! As a general outline, this includes:

Can the expansions be mixed together?
Exploding Kittens 2 features multiple decks that combine its expansions. For example, the Attack of the Attacks deck uses cards from Exploding Kittens 2 and Streaking Kittens.

First of all, we want to thank you all for taking the time to play Exploding Kittens® 2 and sharing your thoughts. You may have noticed that it’s been suspiciously quiet over at the Exploding Kittens Emporium the last few weeks. We’ve been sending out in-game updates full-throttle, patching and adding your most-requested features at such a pace that, frankly, we haven’t had time to sit down and have a nice catch-up with you all.
Fixing our fur
If you’ve been playing Exploding Kittens 2 over the last few weeks, no doubt you’ve noticed a hefty number of improvements and fixes. We’re going to take a moment to brag about some of them here:

The game now remembers your customisation settings.
We sped up the animations and certain game moments. You have things to do, we get it.
Made Nopes better by adding a Nope button, so now you can execute a speedy Nope. Nope, nope, nope…
Added the ability to tap cards to play them, rather than dragging them. Team Tap or Team Drag…?
Gave the scoring system an overhaul.
Added action timers to online games. Again, YOU HAVE PLACES TO BE, RIGHT?
Sent the AI to AI school to become even smarter. You’re in for a real challenge now!
General bug fixes. We’re getting our flea treatments regularly, like good kitties.
We pride ourselves on creating top-quality games, and that means taking it on the chin when players tell us they feel something is missing. It also means doing something about it, and we’re sure you’ll agree that that’s exactly what we’ve done.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE
We’re not stopping there either! The boffins in the Emporium have been cooking up a storm, and they’ve not only added a bunch of Quality of Life updates, but possibly the most fan-requested feature in Exploding Kittens history…
That’s right – CONTENT SHARING IS COMING, FOLKS!
Get ready to be the MVP of your squad. If you own any of the Exploding Kittens 2 expansions, you can now share them with your buddies in “PLAY WITH FRIENDS” mode. Even if they don’t own the same expansions, they can join you in your game. Sharing is caring, after all!
AND EVEN MORE!
You thought we were done? You thought wrong, buddy.
Along with all of this, we’ve also nearly finished production of the next expansion – STREAKING KITTENS!
We’re adding the final polish, trimming its paw pads and brushing its coat. It’s almost ready to get zoomies and bound all over your screen!
Keep your eyes peeled, folks – we’ll have a release date announcement in the next 2 weeks!
