Developer posts and news about this game.
The Linux version of Winter Winds is non functional, and I have been unable to make it work. Therefore, the Linux version of this game is being taken off the shelf. I apologize greatly for this very unprofessional oversight on my end.
Ain't much to talk about, mostly just bug fixes. (Still so many bugs bruh)
Big stuff: - Nothin' Stuff: - Added travellers in the outposts, they are randomized and don't do anything. (They are mainly there for lore logistical information) Small stuff: - Fixed Rain still appearing in lavender outpost. (big oversight on my bad, my bad) - Made it so that Al
Big stuff: - Nothing really. Stuff: - New manual * It is worse stylistically but it's a way smaller file size and has updated info. - "Coloration" in respect to reconstruction * The protagonist will now regain color to their hair and skin if you don't die or exit the game for one
Mostly a quality of life update, no new content. Changes and stuff: - Added custom-built controller support - no PlayStation :( - Bug fixes - Made Aly's Angelic Slash attack do a little less damage - Updated the tutorial and the journals 'helpful information' - primarily added co
Some bugs have been fixed.
The goal of this update is to improve Thornhill and it's contents. Big stuff: - Increased spawn rates on all maps except the area between your house and lavender outpost/ - Added notes in the journal for a few people of interest. - Ambient sounds. * When outside you'll hear ambie
Major stuff: - New character! * The character is named Rain, and will appear in Lavender Outpost after an hour and a half of playtime. * He has a few unique abilities and passively regenerates focus. * Not very fleshed out honestly. Stuff: - Nothing this time. Small stuff: - Noth
Big stuff: - Major rebalancing: All enemies (including bosses) now have much more health. (Give or take 10%- 20% increase.) Stuff: - Added more dialogue and overall content relating to Anna / Anezka. * Anna can now open almost all locks. * A few bugs relating this character have

Do you want to see some new characters that can be in your party? I'm thinking about adding some new characters that can travel around with you. The problem with this is the entire game has been developed with having either one or two party members in mind. Not only that but it c
After I added the Linux build I messed up some stuff and the game wouldn't launch on Linux or Windows. It should be fixed now but you'll have to relaunch Steam for it to take place.
I have made a distribution package of my game for Linux, however I do not own any Linux-based devices so I can't test it and am honestly not sure if it will actually work. I don't have a lot of faith since rpg maker mv's distribution, since the macOS distribution straight up does
Big stuff: - Tasks! - You can now sign up for three different tasks from Georgie for money. Stuff: - Many places where you go from one map to the next, you had to hit one tile, despite there being two open tiles. Many places have been updated so you can touch either tile to trave
A small patch that doesn't do much.
Big stuff: - Added a new section to the map! ~ A hilly area just west of Stormridge Outpost, or north of the abandoned temple. ~ It includes... not much! There's a small library, some spots you can jump over rocks, and a pillar that doesn't do anything. Stuff: - Added a shortcut
Fixed 1 (one) unintended inclusion relating to Rosey.
There isn't a lot of new content, but here's an overview: Rosey - Rosey is a stuffed bear toy from the protagonist's childhood that can be found in the abandoned temple west of your house. You'll need to buy soap from Georgie (it's 25 G) and acquire a bottle of water to clean it,
I've added three mostly empty houses to the map for Thornhill's residents. They'll never be there, but it's the thought that counts.
I did what I stated in the previous post about this update, which you can find here . I added a few instances of some tts voice acting, but its (hopefully) distorted enough to be creepy and not sound like a game penguinz0 would play. I hope to add more of this later but its a lon
