A new update has arrived in Fantasy Shootoff!
v41.2 introduces a new ability for the Mage, updates the island as the story continues to unfold, removes a weapon from the current loot pool, and lays the groundwork for what comes next.

GAMEPLAY
New Mage Skill — Death’s Grip
A new skill has been added to the Mage class.
Death’s Grip grants the Mage a lifesteal effect on basic attacks, allowing them to recover health while dealing damage to enemies.
Mage Balance Adjustments
Small balance adjustments have been made to the Mage class.
These changes are intended to improve the overall feel and balance of the class.
Omega Blade Removed
The Omega Blade has been removed from the current loot pool.
The weapon will no longer appear as normal ground loot.
WORLD
The Island Continues to Change
The island has received another small but noticeable story-driven update.
Corrupted Construction Zone has been updated as the area continues to transform.
Environmental changes have been made to reflect the ongoing events surrounding the island.

A massive corruption has spread across the island in Fantasy Shootoff’s biggest story update yet. Following the meteor impact, Dark Crystals have transformed entire regions of the map while the Assault Team and Dark Army battle for control of the island.
NEW CONTENT
New Corrupted Areas
Three Dark Beacon Points are now active across the island, spreading corruption into nearby regions with dark forests, toxic rivers, and dangerous enemies.
Main Dark Army Base Upgraded
The Dark Army has expanded its main base with:
3 new buildings
New watch tower
More Dark Army troops and defenses
New Trampoline Posts
Permanent trampoline movement points now appear around the island for faster travel.
More Airplane Spawns
Additional airplanes can now spawn around the map.
NEW WIN CONDITION
Defeat the Tower Guardian
A new path to victory has arrived.
Players can now become victorious by defeating the powerful Tower Guardian Boss located at the Main Dark Army Base.
Fight through Dark Army defenses, survive the corruption, and take down the Guardian before rival players do.

Dark Army Mission Log:
"The meteor pod is cracking. We have very little time to secure the Impact Zone and retrieve the crystals."

Impact Zone (New POI):
The meteor crash site has created a massive crater filled with strange energy. The Assault Team (A.T.) has secured the area to study the meteor and prevent anyone from getting too close.
A.T. Labs:
The Assault Team has built two research labs near the Impact Zone to study the meteor and its strange crystals. Another A.T. Lab has been constructed in the Red Forest as research continues across the island.
Dark Army Base:
The former Dark Warrior Area has been fully taken over and converted into the Dark Army’s main base of operations.
