Take on The Maelstrom Cup from the 22nd to 29th of November! Compete for free yacht skin packs in a bracketed tournament with leaderboards that reset every few days so every sailor, from ballasts to skippers will have their shot at glory.
Participation is simple: just complete at least 3 online fleet races to enter!
(Earlier art had listed a scheduled start date of the 6th of Nov but we have pushed this back to allow time for improvements)
Schedule
The Maelstrom Cup follows a 4-round bracketed format:
Bracket 1: Finish in the top 40% of the Bracket 1 leaderboard to advance.
Bracket 2: Finish in the top 30% of the Bracket 2 leaderboard to advance.
Bracket 3: Your place is secured in the Maelstrom Cup Final Leaderboard during Round 4!
Didn’t make it to Bracket 3 by the end of Round 3? Don’t worry sailors in Brackets 1 and 2 can still compete for the Legends Cup in Round 4.
In the finals (Aka Round 4), only the very best will claim the Cup. Top 3 positions win!
Each round begins at 1am CET and ends at 12am CET the following day (43-hour duration).
Prizes
🏆 The Maelstrom Cup (Bracket 3 Finalists):
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will receive:
A free yacht skin
A virtual trophy to commemorate victory
The winner will receive an additional in-game title "Maelstrom Cup Champion"
Additionally, all players who race in the Maelstrom Cup during round 4 will earn a finalist trophy and in-game title (Maelstrom Cup Finalist) to mark their achievement.
🏅 Legends Cup (Brackets 1 & 2 Finalists):
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will receive the same rewards:

The seas are shifting—who will stay upright, and who will topple? Compete for free yacht skin packs in a thrilling bracketed tournament with leaderboards that reset every few days so every sailor, from ballasts to skippers will have their shot at glory.
Participation is simple: just complete at least 3 online fleet races to enter!
Schedule
The Toppling Cup follows a 6-round bracketed format:
Bracket 1: Finish in the top 30% of your Bracket 1 leaderboard to keep your balance and advance.
Bracket 2: Secure a top 3 finish during a Qualifying Heat to move forward.
Bracket 3: Hold your course to claim a place on the Toppling Cup Final Leaderboard during Round 6!
Didn’t make it to Bracket 3 by the end of Round 5? Don’t worry sailors in Brackets 1 and 2 can still compete for the Legends Cup in Round 6.
In the finals (Round 6), only the strongest sailors who don’t capsize under pressure will claim the Cup. Top 3 positions win!
Each round begins at 2am CET and ends at 11pm CET the following day (45-hour duration).

Schedule
The Horizons Cup is a bracketed tournament with 6 rounds. Advance to Bracket 2 by ending a round in the top 30% of players in the bracket 1 leaderboard. Advance to Bracket 3 by placing within the top 3 during a "Qualifying Heat" round in the bracket 2 leaderboard. Every race counts!

Make it into Bracket 3 to secure your place in the Horizons Cup final leaderboard during round 6! However, if you don’t make it to bracket 3 by the end of round 5 you can still compete for the "Legends Cup" Within Brackets 1 and 2 during round 6 with the other players in your bracket.
During the finals in round 6 only the top finishers (Top 3 positions) will be awarded the cup.
Rounds will start at 12am CET and end at 10pm CET the following day (46 hour duration)
Prizes
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers of the Legends Cup and the Horizons Cup will receive a free yacht skin, in-game title (i.e. "Legends Cup Champion") and a virtual trophy to acknowledge their victory!
All players that qualify for the Horizons Cup by making it to Bracket 3 will receive an in-game title and trophy.
