Welcome to the First Update of Colourblind! ːsteamhappyː
There have been major changes to the game so I will list them here:
- Upgrading Graphics
- Improving Outline Effect
- More options in settings
- Chapter 3's Development
- Chapter 4's Pre-Development
- Chapter 2's Remake
GRAPHICS
Colourblind has recently upgraded from Unity's URP (Universal Render Pipeline) to HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline), which allows for less restrictions on lighting and generally gives the game a better look! The reduction in lighting restrictions also gave way for various opportunities to create better visual effects, such as the enhanced Outlining effect!

However, this does come with its own problems, the performance is an example. The frame rate might decrease to support the graphics, so I might add an option to lower the graphics and improve the performance!
MORE OPTIONS IN SETTINGS
One of the backers of the project over at kickstarter.com also suggested to me that more settings options to cater to different player's preferences, so say no more! Some options will include:
- Inverted X and Y Axis
- Graphics options
- Crosshair disabling
- Captions disabling
CHAPTERS?
Out of all the chapters, I personally think Chapter 3 has been the simplest to make so far!
If you do not know, Chapter 3 takes place in a cave, where you try to escape while evil (but dumb) robots try to hunt you down and murder befriend you!
I would say Chapter 3 is a good 75% finished, I still have yet to incorporate the voice actors in the game, as well as a final boss battle???
However, I have long been dissatisfied with how Chapter 2 was designed. Thus, I will be remaking Chapter 2 almost entirely! So expect a delay here and there. Hope you understand!
WHAT ABOUT CHAPTER 4???
I already have plans and the script written out for Chapter 4! It will introduce a Bumbling new Character that guides you through a rather mechanical chapter of the game...
WHAT ABOUT CHAPTER 5???
Woah, slow down there partner
I have just started writing the script of chapter 5, and I promise, Chapter 5 will be crazy
