The new content update, chapter 2, act 2 or whatever you want to call it is up. The new stuff is still work in progress but I'm tired of working on these new areas. Next up I'm going to focus more on the earlier parts of the game that still need fleshing out before I move on to p
I'm releasing chapter 2 on Europe Day, or May 9th. In the meantime you can opt in to public beta build. I wouldn't recommend it if you're easily annoyed by broken stuff. The actual update is also going to be broken but hopefully slightly less so. That's all.
Hey everyone, I'm going to keep this short because I'd rather work on the game than spend any time writing these updates. I had bit of a multi-month burnout meltdown from December forwards but I'm making more progress now, adding side quests and other content to the five new area
The cruise ship level is mostly done, with the required quests in place, so I've moved on to working on the next section of the game. These are still incomplete and don't have any actual gameplay elements set up so far, but I'm making steady progress with the maps themselves. On
I've done some work on the gambling minigame. I don't have much to say about it but here's a video.
Hey everyone. I'm still working, it'll take a while before I have anything ready for release since a lot of these things are quite complicated and take a while to get to any playable state, especially with all the writing involved. Basically all of my work time is just going to l
Here's the small update I promised. Whatever I have planned next will take more time as it requires making new levels etc. New side quest, needs to be fleshed out a bit. On foot loadout weight should work a bit better, making light weapons and equipment a bit more viable. If you
Hey everyone, just thought I'd give you a small update on how things are going. It's almost 4 am and I'm up because of a mosquito. I had originally wanted to make some sort of content update in June, something with a couple of small side quests to tide you over until I can put to
As is the tradition, a patch to fix the last patch. Doing too much coke would cause the game speed to go to zero, which meant you'd be stuck forever. This would also save and corrupt your file, forever leaving you in a state of overdose.
I was going to start using the beta build but the budget screen was busted and I wanted to get that fixed in the default build so here we are again. The budget screen should now have correct values for dividends. (I was only multiplying the amount owned by the dividend percentage
Small update just to get back on track. After this one I will begin using the beta build, which you will be able to opt in to. This is just to get some pressure off potentially messing things up, I want the default build to be at least somewhat stable. I will let you know once it
If you go to the title screen from a loaded save the game now actually resets all the data when you start a new game. Reset aim (default binding Q) now consistently centers the aim of the V-Stalker
This is purely a bug fixing patch. Changed "Return to HQ" to "Return to Title Screen", which is more useful Added descriptions for rest of the stats. Bullets now have a maximum lifetime. Removed "Wait" from the key bindings as it was deprecated. Added a standard flashlight to the
I cannot review Psycho Patrol R in any way that matters. I could approach this mech-piloting, bullet-hungry immersive policing sim like any other first-person shooter with RPG elements, and tell you about its levels, storytelling, and gamey features. Or I could evaluate it on its
I've been curious about Psycho Patrol R for a long time, but after spending seven hours with it in early access, it's now one of my most anticipated games: A ludicrously complex immersive sim, mech sim, and open-ended RPG in the tradition of Deus Ex, Morrowind, or Stalker. It's a
Added new V-Stalker legs with slightly different boost mechanics. Can be found somewhere in the world. Fixed money duplication glitch involving bribing civilians. Settings now save when the game autosaves. Save settings button is still there and you should still press it after yo
Last patch broke sleeping reducing your fatigue, this one fixes that.
Hey everyone. I still have the flu but I couldn't entirely keep myself away from working. I focused on easy to fix issues. Replaced reference to Ohio with a reference to Michigan. This was due to skibidi rizzoid zoomers thinking it was a meme of some sort. You can't let these peo
Small patch. Unless I manage to turn all enemies into fleshrats by introducing inverted Y axis I will now take a small break, due to having the flu. Added option to invert mouse Y axis. Added option to limit FPS Fixed a money exploit. Menu frontend should now more accurately repr
Hey everyone. Psycho Patrol R is now out in Early Access. Please keep in mind that the game is not done, you will experience bugs, balancing issues, and everything else you hate in games. This is ok, the game hates you too. I hope you can still derive some enjoyment from it. Than
