We have some cool new QOL additions and fixes coming your way with this update! We heard you, and we got you. Here’s the list of slams this update has to offer:

New languages have been added - we’re now ready to slam in Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish!
Equipment Management - need to get out of your wrestling gear quickly? No problem! Now, we have an Unequip All function! Perfect for that costume change before your next match. Additionally, we’ve added a quick way to sort your inventory and equipment!
Dungeon Skip - now you can quickly go to the other side of a dungeon on the World Map without going inside. This applies only to dungeons that you have already completed.
Better Numbers! - stat boosting items now show adjusted character stats instead of the character’s HP and AP only.
Aside from the main things above, here’s a list of the miscellaneous QOL adjustments and bugfixes that are slamming their way with the 1.2 update!

Treasure Chest Progress location names updated
Now able to load another save file without going to the main menu
UI adjustments - overall text enlargement, new combat HP heal bar display, new game icons, name adjustments, and more!
Achievements that were not being tracked properly now all work
The game no longer crashes when closing either by force or normally
Softlocks with areas in dungeons and fleeing combat
Combat freezes after QTE during the pin tutorial
Resolution resizing now functions properly
Collision sweep to remove pesky edge cases
Map loading time optimized and reduced!

We’re overjoyed and excited to announce that our 1.1 is up and ready for all the wrestlers to slam! Here’s a summarization of the new features that we’ve announced over the past few weeks:
Flee - need to make a strategic exit? Worry no more! The new Flee mechanic will allow players to escape harm whenever they need to!
Gimmicks Menu Adjustment - We heard your comments about the UI being difficult to navigate. We’ve implemented better scrolling so you get to wherever you need easier and faster!
Improved Bosses - No more waiting on rounds for your HP to drop during those cinematic battles! The bosses in unwinnable fights now deal enough damage to make you lose so you can stick to the script better!
Combat Fast Forward - In a rush to be somewhere? Use the Fast Forward button to speed up the combat!
Crafting Recipes - Time to be a master crafter! The crafting recipes now tell you what category the craftables belong to as you purchase them.
Surge Dome Arena UI - The gladiatorial combat center receives an upgrade! Now, you can see the challengers before the fight as well as the reward that you can win.
Enemy Awareness Radius Reduction - Be sneaky! It’s now easier to sneak around enemies and escape danger.
Heal Outside of Combat - You can now use your healing gimmicks to heal outside of combat! Win your next fight by making sure your party members are all ready to rock and slam.
Detective Pad - It’s time to be a better detective! You can now back out and see if you are prepared to present your findings and solve the mysteries.
Minigame Skip - All minigames can now be skipped! Previously, only some of them were skippable, but we found that some players wanted to skip through any of them, so we added that!
Healing Items buff - We heard the concern that some healing items become useless in the later parts of the game. They now heal through a percentage instead of a flat value.
AP Regeneration - You’ll be able to replenish your sweatiness whenever QTEs or timed events are pressed successfully (Yes, it includes when auto-win QTE is turned on)!
Run Toggle - We heard you guys, and we adjusted the run to be a toggle instead of needing to hold it the entire time when running!
On top of these new features, here is a quick rundown of some issues that we’ve squashed! The list includes but is not limited to the following:
A random block during the Boss Rush
Unable to get out of the dungeon during post-credit gameplay
Characters respawning in colliders after the combat
Getting stuck within colliders
Accessing combat tutorials causes a block
Game gets stuck in a black screen when accessing the world map at times
Crashes when you close the game by force
Combat against the Wasteland Express causes a crash

Minigame Skip - All minigames can now be skipped! Previously, only some of them were skippable, but we found that some players wanted to skip through any of them, so we added that!
Healing Items Buff - We heard the concern that some healing items become useless in the later parts of the game. They now heal through a percentage instead of a flat value. Above: Buffed Clear Tape; Below: Current Clear Tape

We’ve recently released the Auto-win QTE update, and we are glad to see a lot of you cats are feeling hyped about that, along with the new overworld run speed! We thought that it would be great to show you guys some of the work that we’re doing to make WrestleQuest the best game it can be:

Hey, wrestlers! Thank you for your support as we work on our promise to continue making WrestleQuest slamtastic.
We’ve heard the wrestle-voices, and we’ve listened! Today’s patch has one standout feature—Auto-win QTEs! This feature will automatically complete any button prompt during combat. You can toggle this on at any time in the options menu.
Additionally, we have some other fixes and polish for you:
Fixed Bugs

Players getting stuck on, in, and between objects
Cinematics causing softlocks in the game
Saving issues where there are missing components
Various combat issues with gimmicks not dealing damage in different conditions, and issues with healing gimmicks
Black screens being encountered randomly
Text typos and localization fixes
Visual layering issues where some objects are incorrectly on top of other objects
Disconnecting a gamepad when paused causes the UI to bug and block the game
Tweak and Adjustment

Hype Bar values are now shown all the time
Increased overworld run speed Above: Updated run speed; Below: Old run speed
Conveyor belt speed is now proportionate to player's run speed
New features, more fixes, and updates are coming soon! We’re committed to powering up WrestleQuest and are delighted to have you join us on this journey.

Thanks to everyone who has joined us in the ring! We appreciate you, and your support for WrestleQuest.
We also appreciate all the suggestions. Our cat ears are open, and just like a good wrestler, we listen to the crowd. We’re managing everything in batches and prioritizing backward from risk and impact on the game. The team is committed to making this game do its push-ups so it gets stronger and stronger.
Expect some improvements and polish soon, including:

Adjustments to the run speed to put some spice in Muchacho Man’s step.
The game has several toggles for combat, including Max Damage, Invincibility, Slow QTEs, and Auto-pinning. However, we feel these were not adequately communicated, so we’ll add some in-game messaging to highlight them.
Our goal with the button prompts during combat was to keep players engaged and to make your attacks feel more impactful. However, many people prefer a combat experience without button prompts or QTEs. Therefore, we’re adding an option to Auto-win ALL button prompts and QTEs, not just those related to pinning.
Additional quest markers to help wayfinding at certain points of the story.
Improvements to combat UI, including better enemy health bars and hype meter improvements.
Better autosave triggers at key moments and before critical battles.
Cursor Memory during combat to make targeting easier than ever.
A slew of bug fixes and corrections.
Several other QoL improvements to menus and UI to make the experience smoother than ever!
This is the roadmap as it stands, as complete as we have at the moment, and it's being actively updated daily. We’ll be back next month with an update to our plan, and let you know in the meantime as these improvements make their way into WrestleQuest.
