I put a lot into this project, there is nothing pointless.
Big seems small at the distance.
Also game have tens classic mini games remade in horror vision: from doodle jump and papers please to fucking card battler in ONE game.
Like a lot things (cut-scenes animations and character animations, locations, some music) the card battler was in development for years. Years of balancing it by it's physical copy.
In actual game Human AI is still incredibly stupid but i hope upgrade it one day by hiring coders. Although battler works decent and fun as the separate board game.

So it’s the end of 2025 and playtest is over. Its been over more than few weeks. but I only recently found out abt it . Heres what we got from some filled surveys: need to delete all car segments except first one need to make all game visuals in black and white and sometimes add
So it’s the end of 2025 and playtest is over. Its been over more than few weeks. but I only recently found out abt it . Heres what we got from some filled surveys:
need to delete all car segments except first one
need to make all game visuals in black and white and sometimes add red colour.
need give U diagonal movement. this means i need to: create 2 very hard frame by frame animations on all 5 versions of main character, rebuild movement controls on all scenes, and recreate controls with mouse adding.
need give possibility of walking down and horizontal on car levels
need to delete zoom on car segments
need to make puzzles easier
need to make puzzles harder. Note: Also I think game doesnt have any puzzles. Its just command manipulations in Kill OC
need to make more music (Fun fact: Game OST got smth about 110+ songs)
“add more interactive gameplay instead of it being a point and click puzzle game”
More mini game instead of just dodginf stuff
Let people kill cars
save system easy setting menu and more directions
add run
Maybe make the overworld more about exploring and finding elements to plug into Kill OC, less reflexive gameplay given the slower movement speed

Please remove the jump scares, they're pointless.

I want to tone down the gore. I also hope it remains bold and distinctive, without overly incorporating others' opinions.

Now seriously. There was a lot of valuable feedback. In some parts, we making this creation better TOGETHER. Bc of you- I added 2 new big scenes at beginning of game and we improved quality of old ones.

Apartments & MENDACIUM STREET - steps sound and volume fixed. Yellow house collider expanded. MENDACIUM STREET done on 30% in this build. Full version will be in full release or mb demo.
I remade many really loud or annoying sounds, like start logo and cutscene, Fairy game sounds, KILL OC OPEN AND ETC.
Added new sound in U room after Fairy game
New Human KILL OC lines and add missing Human KILL OC lines in prefabs

Receive all things above test and code it where it needed
Remove ability to use Mouse in the initial language selection window.
U spawn fixed on Inter Funky Town scene with view point and spiders
Mouse turned off on language start screen so bug with wrong language choosing is fixed
right contrast and saturation settings at the game launch
some bug fixes etc

p.s. I also lost 3 months of work, big amount of money and health for "programmer" who made terrible GPHM build and disappeared leaving me with game tutorial only. then second GPHM programmer is done 40% and eventually disappeared too because of his mental state.

Spend some time (few days) and nerves for nothing again. Search continue. Refusing of launching kickstarter (I'm in doubt that we can hit 4k dollars in first days. in other ways it's pointless), now will try patreon or buy me a coffee instead. very nervous and risky flight to Serbia with 4 cats. it took three days. start searching for work.

working on ghost town. going to a gamedev festival in Belgrade for networking. searching for work and programmer.
started to analyse kickstarter platform.
september 27-30
in search for solution for launching kickstarter in Serbia. work on ghost town and promotion. send god please help me game to the new programmer.
cut GPHM locations chunk sprites into pieces. work on tik tok and youtube videos. working on new logo for kickstarter and maybe steam page (the result is down below)
