We recently passed the one-year anniversary of The Operator’s launch, and what a year it's been. Thanks to your incredible support, we’re excited to officially announce that development on the sequel is well underway (and has been for a little while now).
With over 100,000 units sold on Steam and new players discovering the game every day, we’re beyond grateful for the enthusiasm you’ve shown for our small studio’s work. Your support has made it possible for us to continue the journey and take The Operator to the next level.

Great news, Operators! The Operator, fresh on the back of our Pégases award, now fully supports the Steam Deck! That means you can dive into the game wherever you go, with full controller support and optimized performance on Valve’s handheld device. To check the version, look at the second number on the top right of the main menu. If it contains 5090 or greater, you're good!
Changelog:

ADD: Full controller support.
ADD: SteamDeck support.
ADD: UI scale option (100% - 120%).
ADD: Proper audio description in cinematic (if the option is enabled).
MOD: Improved graphics & color representation.
MOD: Performance improvements.
MOD: Region detection is working differently. This impacts the unit system, the date and time format. If the default values are not correct for you, please tell us.

To check the version, look at the second number on the top right of the main menu. If it contains 4413 or greater, you're good!

UPDATE: Quinton SPENCE age was incorrect. While we wait for the dialogues to be re-recorded with the new, correct, age we’ll update the database. That makes the photo not coherent with the age, but it’s a temporary solution.
CRITICAL FIX: Incorrect characters could appear for Chinese languages.
FIX: Typo in french in a very important manual (Ii.2 → II.2).
FIX: Technical terms in the french translation.
FIX: Typos.
FIX: Incorrect time between the chapter UI and the actual desktop time for the 3rd day.
