The moment we've all been waiting for is here - Memori is officially live on Steam Early Access! After months of development and your incredible support through wishlists and feedback, you can now experience the precision platformer we've been building together.
What You're Getting:
Early Access Experience: This isn't the final product yet - there's still plenty of work ahead with updates and feature requests to tackle. Think of this as joining the development journey rather than playing a finished game.
Test Branch Access: For those who want the latest updates, we have a test branch with more frequent updates. Higher crash risk, but your progress is always preserved. Access it through Properties > Betas tab > Select "test"
Regular Updates: Both the stable branch and test branch will receive ongoing improvements based on your feedback and testing.
How to Help:
Feedback Priority: Game crashes, save file issues, and general gameplay feel are most valuable right now.
Join the discord to talk with the developer
Log Files: If you encounter crashes, log files help immensely: AppData\\Roaming\\memori_game (Windows) or ~/.local/share/memori_game (Linux)

Latest Developments & What’s Ahead for Memori
Hello Memori Fans,
As we continue pushing forward with development, I wanted to share some exciting updates and what to expect in the near future. Your support on Steam has been instrumental, and every wishlist, comment, and feedback has propelled us further. Here’s what’s been happening:
Current Progress:

Visuals and Art: With the help of talented artists like Ategon Dev and Lesma, player animations have been elevated to new levels. StyxColor has crafted some incredible cinematics, and Cactus Celery has enriched our game world with unique static objects.
Music and Sound: The soundtrack, particularly the new themes for the main menu crafted by Flowerhead, has greatly enhanced the atmospheric feel of Memori. Dive deeper into their creations on YouTube.
Gameplay: We're almost at the finish line with 99% of gameplay locked down, focusing on refining and smoothing out the last few edges.
Skins and Extras: Final tweaks are being made to our skin system to offer a more personalized and engaging gameplay experience.
What’s Next:

Early Access in June: We're gearing up for an early access launch this June. This phase will be crucial for fine-tuning Memori based on your gameplay experiences.
Closed Playtest for Backers: An exclusive playtest is coming up soon, providing early backers with a sneak peek and the opportunity to shape the final touches.

Enhanced High-Resolution UI: The user interface has been upgraded to higher resolution, incorporating numerous quality of life (QoL) features. This includes the implementation of an assist mode for accessibility and a debug mode for those interested in exploring the game mechanics more deeply.

In the latest update in Memori, we introduced a dynamic first-boss encounter. This formidable adversary takes the form of a relentless "Wall of Flesh" inspired by Terraria that relentlessly pursues players throughout the chapter, creating an intense escape sequence. To amp up the challenge, we integrated an assortment of threats, such as lasers, flying skulls, and hazardous obstacles that players must navigate through. Additionally, the inclusion of flames adds an extra layer of excitement and urgency to the encounter. These updates aim to provide players with a thrilling and unforgettable gaming experience.
