Last weekend, we had the opportunity to listen to the Copycat soundtrack performed by a live orchestra at Fortress Sydney's Arena. The Film Harmonia Orchestra and conductor Morgan Ainsley did a wonderful job! A big congratulations to Copycat's composer Daniel Bunting for putting the score together. The orchestra also played music from Hades 2, Untitled Goose Game, and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. What an epic night.

The biggest news is that the Copycat family has donated AUD$2297 to our local pet shelter. The funds are going to the Lost Dogs (and Cats) Home located in Melbourne, Australia. Not only will the donation help fund crucial vet treatment and loving foster care—but will also give animals a whole new lease on life in a loving forever home. All thanks to the wonderful players who purchased the physical edition of Copycat on PS5 in collaboration with Tesura Games. Big thanks again and looking forward to more great opportunities to make meaningful impact. (Note: All the PS5 physical release copies are sold out! They will be restocked in the New Year.)

We wanted to take some time to reflect on the last six months. We have been part of our second cat shelter charity stream, made it as finalist at an awards show, and have been working on a physical edition (but more on that later).

We were going through some of our quotes and stumbled across this beautiful one from Thumb Culture (who gave us five stars). Thanks for making our day.

Over the easter holidays, the Copycat team had an opportunity to help animal shelters across Spain and Germany. The charity is a non-profit organisation called 'Sieben-Katzenleben e.V' that rescues street cats and rehomes them. A handful of passionate Twitch streamers played Copycat to raise money for the animal shelters. A big thank you to 'Viking Charity' for organising the event.

Last week, Hardcore Gamer interviewed the Copycat team. Big thank you to Callista Mayberry. Here's one of our favourite questions she asked: Fur the Record, What Inspired Copycat?

[Kostia] "In terms of gameplay, Life is Strange is probably our favourite game ever and we're looking forward to the new one. It's been a big inspiration in gameplay and atmosphere-wise as well, which is ironic because I grew up playing Counter-Strike. (laughs) It's as far away as it gets from this! And Sam grew up playing Pokémon."

[Sam] "I think that the lightness that comes from Pixar, Disney and Dreamworks; it's a story that's going to entertain kids but also move adults. It honestly is going to be a really powerful mode to layer in metaphor and tell a really wholesome, meaningful story to the end."
