Things should run smoother pretty much everywhere now, but you’ll especially feel the difference on Map 3, which got the most work-smooth-or-die love this time around.

General:
Fixed an issue where players were unable to access the Credits menu using a controller.
Fixed weird interactions when remapping weapon wheel keybindings
Fixed multiple visual issues related to textures and LODs.
Fixes to different glass elements in base game
Fixed issue where saving at a checkpoint would freeze the game for a few seconds
These Sunny Daze:
Fixed missing “POSTAL: Brain Damaged” text in the Credits section when using Brazilian Portuguese.
Fixed a soft-lock caused by opening the Weapon Wheel and Pause Menu at the same time.
Fixed an issue where some enemy melee attacks could deal damage through Nyanbrella’s shield.
Fixed multiple map gaps and tight spaces where the player could get permanently stuck.
Fixes to UrAnusium Syringe zoom
Optimized the way enemies on the levels are spawned
Improvements of culling range

P:TSD Content Update & Small Performance Fixes Incoming!
New things, better things, and bunch of fixed things. It may have seemed quiet, but behind the scenes we’ve been neck-deep in These Sunny Daze DLC's guts, tracing bottlenecks, unclogging blockages and putting together a plan to get things flowing right. This update brings only th
New things, better things, and bunch of fixed things.
It may have seemed quiet, but behind the scenes we’ve been neck-deep in These Sunny Daze DLC's guts, tracing bottlenecks, unclogging blockages and putting together a plan to get things flowing right.
This update brings only the small, first wave of improvements
- a starter patch that kicks off a two-part plan to boost performance.
The next one is already in the works. And while we were down there, we just couldn’t resist sneaking in some new stuff too.
So what's new?
New tropical arena map available in Survival Mode (for P:TSD owners only)
Brand-new alt-fire for UrAnisum Syringe (let’s just say it’s not exactly subtle)
The sewers in Erection Day have been rebuilt and improved, based on a blueprint straight from your feedback. New routes, same stench. Go see how it flows now!
And speaking of the flow...
This update is the first, smaller part of a two-stage process of improving P:TSD’s performance.
It’s taking time, we know, but we didn’t want to just slap duct tape on the surface. We chose to dig deeper, hunt down the actual causes and fix things at its source.
Some areas are already running a lot smoother, so instead of making you wait for the whole thing,
we’re dropping a small batch of fixes today.
We know this isn’t the whole deal. Right now we’re going after the rougher spots and making sure things run better on lower-end rigs too.
You can expect the second patch to drop before the end of December!

Changes to Sniper Rifle - Alt-fire fires mini-nukes
Overhaul of the Erection Day in Sewers

Brain Damaged fixes:
Fixed an issue where the "B**ch Lore" achievement could be unlocked despite not owning These Sunny Daze
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to select levels in Survival Mode with a controller
Fixed some cases in which certain enemies would not be affected by fire and confusion piss
Fixed an issue where Big Bad Rona's eyes were not damaged by the BFG's lightning
STEAM ONLY: Fixed an issue where the "Play Mods" option in the Mods menu would not function correctly
These Sunny Daze fixes:
Fixed an issue where the 'PTSD' achievement would not unlock if cutscenes were disabled in the settings
Adjusted the collider of the Bubblegun's alternate projectile to more closely match its visuals
Fixed an issue where not all new enemies would use navmesh links
Fixed an issue where using the Sticky Hand on anal plugs would play the sound effect twice
Picking up a sausage from Wiener Grinder now makes the proper food eating sound
Changes in Ship Happens level:
Fixed an issue where on Steam Deck, ice would not be displayed properly in the cold storage room
Changes in Erection Day level:
Fixed an issue where some cars lacked collision
Fixed an issue that caused CATE Agents to occasionally float in the air
Fixed an issue where the altar at the top of the stairs floated in the air
The crowd in the starting area now has audio
Minor adjustments to the lighting in the Whitest House
Also there’s two new game localizations - Hungarian and Brazilian Portuguese!
We know it’s not everything yet - but we’re still grinding to make everything run smoother and nastier.

POSTAL: Brain Damaged - These Sunny Daze Hotfix #2
Bugs screamed. Code cried. The patch didn’t care. Everything acting up got dragged out back and “ retired ” permanently. We nuked the nastiest bugs, smacked the keybinds until they learned some manners, and even the elevators got taught a lesson. Here’s what we hammered into shap

Everything acting up got dragged out back and “retired” permanently.
We nuked the nastiest bugs, smacked the keybinds until they learned some manners, and even the elevators got taught a lesson.

Here’s what we hammered into shape this time:
Fixed custom keybinds not saving properly. There’s one final reset with this patch, but once you set them again, they’ll stick for good.
Cleaned up tons of small map issues, including clipping, textures, and other minor cases.
Achievements that were unlocking incorrectly should now work as intended.
Falling into the kill plane will no longer respawn you at the wrong location.
Fixed a bug where Balloonmen could spontaneously explode a few seconds after loading a save.
The fuse box on the first DLC level should now work properly for everyone.
We’ve adjusted saving on the first level: you can still save before or after the elevator ride, but not while it’s moving - turns out the elevator refuses to cooperate mid-journey.
Stay cool, sip your drinks, enjoy the last days of summer… 'cause October’s forecast has Hurricane Dude on the radar, bringing a rain of update heavy enough to drown the maps like a clogged motel bathroom.

Two days into The Daze and you've already given us a truckload of feedback. We’ve seen the positive stuff, it fuels us to dream up even nastier dudemares for you in the future.
And we’ve seen the critical stuff, it helps us clear the summer-autumn fog and make the game sharper, meaner, and more fun.
Balance? First dedicated patch is coming soon.
Bugs? Eliminated mercilessly, as they crawl out.
Content? Horde Mode arenas and more goodies are already lined up.
For now, here’s today’s hotfix:
Fixed an issue where some players with old saves couldn’t access the purchased DLC.
UI now correctly shows how much you’ve peed in the tanks in front of the hotel to open the door.
Fixed the water/sand area at the end of the ship so enemies behave there as they should.
Fixed visual issues with piss tanks in one of the ship sections.
Fixed enemy aggro triggers that were firing incorrectly.
Fixed a softlock with the storage doors on the cruise ship.
Fixed a potential softlock during the fight with dogs on the beach.
Fixed collision issues on the pier at the beach.
Fixed a crash caused by the Balloon Guys falling under the map (this should prevents the crash on Map 3).
Fixed DLC achievements not unlocking properly if you own the DLC / due to weird edge cases.
Fixed players sometimes being unable to get the key on the rollercoaster.
Added extra VFX when hitting something with the sniper rifle.
Improved lighting on the second Horde Mode level.
Small fix for intro video
We’re steadily grinding through all your reports - more fixes and improvements are already in the works, and we’ll roll them out as soon as they’re ready!
