Garbage is bringing some spicy news and overview of what's to come.
It's been a bit longer break since last update and here is why:
Garbage: Hobo Prophecy gained massive popularity over YouTube and Over 900 reviews on Steam which lead us to vast amounts of feedback to analyse what works and what should be improved.
Base building, funny characters, the jokes, items, quests it seems there is something for every gamer to like. We felt that management and base building aspects of the game loses sense of achievement when the fights seem quite similar one to another. Since last update we set up a target to improve combat system. Here are all the updates we did:
Before
Combat system v2:
- 3 New fighting classes
- More complex fighting skills
- More passive skills
- New sounds
- Ability to assign your characters to different positions such as: Tank, Range, Fighter.
After
Other updates:
- Finished game story
- More night stories, side quests and NPC's
- A Shit ton of new NPC types
- Visual map updates
- Pimped up the arena mechanics
- Drawn cosmic amount of comics doodles
- Wrote a whole book of stories (even a whale would would not be able to chew this all up)
- Vast ocean of small features that should make game even more fun
We've put much consideration into this decision to release the game as quickly as possible but the most important is to make a quality game. Right now we are finalising the game content and soon we will be able to start shaping it to the final form.

Q: When is the full game coming out?
A; We are aiming to launch it on June 1st but the date is not final.
Q: Can I use my Hobo Prophecy safe file for a full game?
A: No, these are two different games and with a new combat system it is not even possible to do that.
Q: What will be the price of the game?
A: The price is not finalised but it should be in the range of 15-20$.
Q: I have a game crashing bug and can't find the solution, what do I do?
A: Best option would be to join our discord channel or post it in Steam community. Don't forget to note your computer specifications, the language you are using, and add the Player.log file. Here's how you can find it. Path starts with Homebased/Garbage Hobo prophecy.
Q: Will there be an update to Hobo Prophecy?
A: Yes, as soon as we balance it and test it out properly.
Q: Why Turkish version of the Hobo prophecy isn't working properly?
A: There is a bug in the localisation file, we will fix it in the next patch. For now, please choose the English version in the setting menu.
