Aragami 2 now has difficulty modes! This update aims to adapt the experience to the player's preferences, whether they want a more challenging approach or a more relaxed one. This new patch includes new Easy and Hard modes that add some tweaks to the gameplay and enemy behavior. The difficulty of a mission can be selected on the Mission Board before starting it.
The Difficulty Update features the following:

Option to select a mission's Difficulty on the Mission Board (EASY, NORMAL and HARD).
General tweaks (applied on all difficulties) of enemy parameters and behaviors.
The behavior of the aragami enemies has been revamped, and are now more present in the missions of the last third of the game, on NORMAL and HARD difficulties.
Max player level has been increased to 48.
A medal counter has been added to the Mission Board, as well as a rune reward for each type, if 25 medals are collected.
These are some of the parameters that change depending on the selected difficulty:

Time the enemies need to detect the player.
Distance at which the enemies detect some player actions (e.g. player killing an enemy).
Distance at which the enemies detect events in their environment (e.g. corpse on the ground).
Enemies' aggressiveness in combat.
Player's strength in combat (only in Easy).
Experience obtained at the end of a mission.
Player's Ability cooldowns.
Player's stamina regeneration rate.

New:

Difficulty Update is now available! The Difficulty Update adds Easy and Hard difficulty modes, available in all story missions selected in the Mission Board. Each difficulty setting applies general tweaks to enemies' awareness, aggressiveness in combat, and reaction time.
Added Euskera localization to all PC platforms.
A medal counter has been added to the Mission Board, as well as a rune reward for each medal type if 25 medals are collected
Change:

The behavior of Lurker enemies has been redesigned and their placement rate has been increased in all modes besides EASY.
Fanatic Soldiers now wake up some time after being knocked out.
Elite Soldiers are now resistant to most throwing weapons.
In EASY mode, player Strength is increased.
The mission Experience reward is adjusted depending on the difficulty level selected.
Max player level has been increased to 48.
To celebrate the release of this update, we’ve activated a weeklong deal of 30% on Steam! Now is the perfect time to grab your copy of Aragami 2 and enjoy the final version of the game with all its updates - photo mode, advanced customization options, classic mode and difficulty modes!
This is the last update we’re bringing to Aragami 2, meaning that we’ll not be working on future content - just some bug fixing patches when needed. We’re so thankful for all the support and feedback - both positive and negative - you’ve been sharing with us during the post-launch period. We really hope that this final version of Aragami 2 satisfies both long-time fans and newcomers.
So what now? You may wonder. Now we’re actively working on new and exciting projects. It’s still too soon to share more info, but we’ll do so when the time comes. Hence, we recommend that you follow us on Twitter and join our Discord server so you’re up to date.

It’s been 6 months since the release of Aragami 2, and we’re so grateful for the support you’ve been giving us throughout this time. Community feedback is so important to us, and we’ve listened to you.
Now, we’re so excited to show you the latest update arriving today to Aragami 2: the Classic Mode.
Classic Mode offers the chance to relieve Aragami’s original mechanics. The new mode is available now for owners of the game with this latest update. Players looking to dive into Aragami 2 for the first time can enjoy a Daily Deal of 40% discount tomorrow, March 18th.

Inspired by the mechanics that fans loved from the first game, classic mode will challenge players to stick to the shadows and plan their moves with extra caution. These are the main features that you’ll find in the Classic Mode:

Free leaps to shadows around you.
Stamina levels are limited and recharge slower in bright areas.
Direct combat is now extremely challenging and will more likely be deadly.
Switch between normal and classic mode before starting missions.
Classic mode is available both for single-player and multiplayer.

Classic Mode is now available! The Classic Mode, inspired by Aragami (2016), applies a series of changes to the base mobility of the hero to offer an alternative game experience. To learn more, start a mission in Classic Mode at the Mission Board.
Added Japanese localization to Steam and GOG.
Added a Tutorials section in the Status Menu.
Fixes

Fix vegetation on some AMD video cards. Tall grass visibility issues are now solved for those with certain AMD GPUs.
In some situations you could lose the progression after visiting the dyes shop.
Multiple minor fixes.
Changes

Performance improvements on multiplayer sessions.
Classic Mode is our biggest update yet, but we’re not done. We’re happy to announce that we’re working on another update coming Q2 2022: difficulty modes.
Difficulty modes will most likely be our last content update for Aragami 2, as we move on to new unannounced projects. Even so, we’ll continue to support Aragami 2 with fixes when necessary.

Added Loadouts to save specific combinations of Equipment, Runes and Dye.

Added Photo Mode! You can now take screenshots both in single player or while playing online, and apply special camera effects to capture ninja action in all its splendor. You will find the Photo Mode in the Status Menu.
Added Credits button in Status Screen. Now you can see the full list of people who brought Aragami 2 to live!
Added Hungarian language support.
Fixes

Multiple mission scripting fixes affecting M20 (cutscene killing all NPCS), M23, M33, M46, M47 among other missions.
Enemy facial animations when dying not working.
Player input stopped working when a tutorial message appears while power wheel is open.
Some texts were not visible in some languages.
Control mapping issues on PC platforms.
Various fixes to cutscene visuals.
General performance optimizations.
Changes

Rune descriptions for some rune effects are now easier to understand.
Added separate keyboard and mouse mapping options to control mapper.
Who knew you could get fashion advice from the dead? The legendary Peach Dye is now unlockable when visiting the "ancestors".
Multiplayer

New: Added Region Selector to Server Browser. You can now create and join public games in regions different than your own. This enables crossplatform online play with players from different world regions.
New: Added button to set your online session as public or private. Useful when you want to create public 2 player games by letting only 1 person join your game.
Fix: Multiple Multiplayer fixes and performance improvements.
Change: A popup now appears when you receive an invitation but you are already in an online session.

Players can now pause the game when playing single player.
Game now enters slow motion when opening the Ability / Item Wheel.
Added new tutorials to introduce enemy types and special objectives.
Added keybard mapping screen on PC platforms.
Added setting to disable automatic target lock when attacking.
Added setting to automatically target a parried character.
Added setting to toggle Slow Motion when using the power wheel.
Added setting to disable HUD for Available Actions.
