Hello ːsteamhappyː,
we released today a new version (V1.0.54) of PureDesktop with many improvements, bugfixes, reworks and much more. Here are a list of the most important changes.
1. Logo Change
We changed our logo to look more modern. It is not perfect, but it is much cleaner and fits better to our company.
2. Reworked the User Interface
We changed some of the controls, reduced the use of colors and made the buttons more pretty. What do you guys think. Do you like the "new" design or was the old design good enough?
3. Bugfixes
We removed a lot of those ugly bugs which leads to crashes, none loading elements or other problems. But those little evil creatures are hard to find, so there can still be some of those bad boys.
4. Simplified options
First Start Setup Screen... Removed
Angle-Vendor... Removed
Links to Forum... Removed
Some performance options... Removed
5. Simplified options
We clever foxes have revised several code areas to increase performance. Some only within the designer, some in general. Do you notice any difference? :)
6. Added localization
Russian, Chinese, Spain, French, ... We added so many localization... Some should be very good (yeah, be payed some guys for translation), some are okay (DeepL-Translator, not perfect but good enough) and some will be bad (Google-Translate. Sorry ːsteamfacepalmː).

So, a few final words. We haven't released any updates for a long time, because we were very busy ourselves. A lot of code changes have taken place in this time. We hope it still works as intended. If not: Write to us (PLEASE, don't write "tHaT sOfTwArE iS CrAp" ːsteamfacepalmː in the review... We will do our best).
And if your software still crashes while using the particle system. Yeah, the particle system can still crash in some situations. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it. Sadly, this is a Qt error ːsteamsadː.
