Hello! 1.6.0 Winter update is another major update with several changes and new content additions. I hope you like it. If you’d like to talk about the game feel free to join the official discord server :)
New
Scarlet Ruby & Shrines
At Rose level 4, "Scarlet Ruby" and "Shrines" will be unlocked for all players when playing adventure mode. The count of ruby will increase along with player’s rose level and these jewels can be used in a new type of an explore area called “shrines”.
Shrines are randomly generated areas like camps where players can heal and manage their deck but can also “bless” their cards with special abilities. These abilities, aka "blessings", depend on the type of shrine players find.

Blessing of Blade: Attack by the value of the card's level after activation
Blessing of Protection: Gain Barrier with the value of the card's level before activation
Blessing of Life: Recover HP by the value of the card's level after activation
I hope with the addition of ruby and shrines players can attempt and reach higher level of challenges as they play and achieve higher rose level. Please try them out :D
New skins & New Trial Option
3 new skins have been added: Noel, Magical, and Starlight. Along with new skins, three new challenges have been added to unlock the skins. Furthermore, a new trial option called “Shuffle Phantoms” have been added and will be required for one of the new challenges. New challenges are as follows:

Tactician: Clear an adventure stage with Shuffle Phantoms Trial Option
Shock and Fear: Clear adventure by defeating all Crown Phantoms using DEBUFF status as the killing blow
Trial Champion: Clear adventure twice with 5 trial options
UI Updates

Player Status modal will now show the list of Crown Phantoms defeated and also the final blow player dealt to them.
Players can now easily check their trial options without opening the player status.
List of Recommended Challenges will appear once player clears an adventure
Other changes

Bonus XP for each trial option has been raised to 250XP
Lili’s DEF reduced by 1
Duke’s ATK reduced by 1
Vampire Doll’s opening pattern changed
Rose Token value reduced to 4
Bunny Charm’s value reduced to 5
Black Axe will now heal player by 2 if item is not skipped

Card Changes

Sharpened: Added extra ability - If an attack does not inflict Bleed, gain Bloodlust status
Incision: Added extra ability - If target is not bleeding, copy card to deck
Bless: Ability changed to - Give own debuffs to opponent. Return cards in hand to deck
Hardened: Added extra ability - Activate Heal when barrier is gained.
Cleanse: Added extra ability - Destroy opponent barrier
Defense Up: Ability changed to - Raise DEF by the number of opponent attack cards on field
Illusion: Duration of Fear status given to attacker increased to 3
Fever Pierce, Attack Up’s levels have been lowered

Rose Token value increased to 5
Trial option’s phantom stat boost have been readjusted to 10%, 20%, 30%
Several phantom’s patterns have been slightly adjusted due to card changes
Rare bug where first block of mystery event will sometimes crash the game fixed
1.5.2.1 Hot Fix

Bug of not being able to deselect unavailable trial options fixed
Rare bug with Silver Scale not properly activating fixed
Sharpened activates when attack damage is at least 5
The objective of the card changes is to give more utility to these cards so that they don’t waste space in your deck and allow them to provide powerful returns depending on how you play them. Bless and Sharpened for instance are I think both really interesting cards that can turn the tide of your battles and Incision’s extra ability makes it worthy of level III. I hope you like it and I hope it makes the game more fun to play. Thanks!

3 New Reina Skins
Three new skins have been added to the game. Witch is a halloween themed skin, Chibi and Mysterious girl’s outfit have been popular requests. The three new skins are unlocked with three new challenges that’s been added that you can also check in game!

Witch Unlock Condition: Clear an adventure stage with 3 trial options
Mysterious Unlock Condition: Clear adventure with 3 trial options
Chibi Unlock Condition: Deal at least 30 damage with a single attack
New redraw system
Redraw system has been upgraded to give you a preview of the next 3 cards in deck that you can toggle before spending any rose. This makes redraw work more in your favor and helps you set your hand up more efficiently for the desired card synergy. Testers and members in the community who volunteered to try it out early liked it and I hope you will too. If you miss the old system and its challenges, single card redraw can be activated from the Trial Options selector for bonus XP.
3 New Phantoms for Maid Rescue
New set of spooky Phantoms have been added for maid rescue. These Phantoms will bring new challenges different from other phantoms that you can encounter in your adventure.

1. STEAM Trading Cards
Thanks to the community, Valve allowed me to make trading cards so I made them! You can collect 5 trading cards to get badges, wallpapers, and emotes just by playing the game! Happy collecting!
2. Phantom Archives
When you defeat a phantom, you'll now be able to see their information in the Phantom Archives. It'll also keep track of how many time you've defeated the Phantom.
3. Change to post-death retry
Now you can select between a randomly selected upgrade OR cards you had from death. I hope this makes retries further interesting.
4. New Items
6 new items have been added to the game:

Crowbar: Open treasure chests immediately
Black Axe: Skipping items after this item will raise Max HP by 2
Gold Rose: Gain 5 more Soul Roses after battle if remaining rose is 0
Dark Candle: reveal location of mystery events on map
Grim Hammer: Defense up when 6 cards are redrawn in a phase
Fancy Perfume: Add 2 "Overdrive" to deck on pick up.
5. New Cards

Fever Pierce (II): Attack with ATK + sum of opponent's debuff durations
Overdrive (-): Activate Overdrive status immediately - Destroy cards in hand with levels and change HP to the number of cards destroyed. No enemy cards on field next phase
5. Balance Changes & Bug fix

No more Inverse Strike
Chain Strike is now level II and changed to: Attack. This & next card ignore barrier
Illusion will now always inflict fear when receiving attack
Fear Armor now gives 2 Thorn Armor status from 1
Focus is now level III
Recover is now level III
Glasses will now give Attack Up
Backpack will trigger on Phase 4 from 3
Small Shield will only trigger at the start of battle
Elite Lurker now has Thief Stance as starting passive
Venom's duration changed to 5
Fixed bug with Sharp Awl triggering on bleed
