Closed Developer Notification
Dear Yuan Ling/Ling Tan
GKD Game Studio always insists on making a boutique game that is really based on traditional Chinese culture and has an excellent core way of playing.
Due to the underlying problems in the current version of 《Notes Of Soul》,we will enter a closed development phase for a period of about 3 months in order to make the original plan to launch in 2021《Notes Of Soul 2.0》(tentatively named, hereinafter referred to as version 2.0) to meet you more quickly.
Closed development does not mean to stop updating and maintenance of 《Notes Of Soul》. Compared with the current version, closed development can not only bring a more stable experience, but also we will do a full range of remaking of the game. We have fully prepared for half a year's update, 《Notes Of Soul》 will be updated every half a month. At the same time of closed development, we will also optimize the current version, focusing on the balance and repair of related problems.
During the closed development period, our operational activities will continue to be launched, and more content will be filled with in-game festivals, activities, benefits, and so on. In addition to the game, the new professional event system is under preparation, the live broadcast platform activities will be open periodically, and the NCC series competitions are also under way.
In response to your expectations, we will release and inform you of the development progress of version 2.0 from various official channels. You can also easily find us by using the “I” button in the game. It is expected that in September, we will remake the reservation page and fully open the reservation. The first test phase will begin around November, and players will have the opportunity to participate in the 2.0 test recruitment in advance.
The continuous pursuit of better game quality has always been our goal, and we will devote ourselves to the development of version 2.0, hoping that you can still encourage us when we try our best to fulfil our dream of the Tan Ling world.
For the production of version 2.0, we have spent a lot of energy on technology, art, play, operation and other aspects of reproduction, compared with the current version will be greatly improved, in all aspects we will strive for excellence, try our best to bring you an ideal world of Tan Ling.
Next, we will preemptively introduce some of the content in 2.0. The full text is long. Thank you for your patience.
[Lighting&Picture]
The game screen can intuitively bring players an immersive game experience. In version 2.0, we have made a lot of efforts to improve the picture. We will use the most advanced ray tracing technology, day and night weather transformation and other systems. Photo scanning-level scene art, well-designed characteristic scenes, strive to bring you a new, exquisite world of Tan Ling.
[Role Action]
As an action adventure game, character Action 2.0 is one of our main promotion goals. We will make greater technical improvements under the premise of optimizing all the actions in the current version, and we will produce 3A-level action performance. at the same time, it will change the existing perspective mode, add a new interactive action system to expand the game play, and bring you a new immersive interactive game experience.
[Game Mechanism]
On the basis of the current version of the game mechanism, we will add and adjust the content of the game mechanism to expand the game, including but not limited to the new game mechanism, props, characters, magic weapons, maps and so on,new upgrades will be carried out in all aspects. I hope you can have more fun in the course of the game.
[Game Balance]
In version 2.0, we reconstruct the rules of the whole game, using a variety of mechanisms that are more controllable and adjustable, such as the refresh of element-slot and sealing mechanism, the reconstruction of skills of Yuan Ling and Ling Tan, and the unified level of props and tricks. and the mechanism will take on a new form, and we will continue to strive for excellence on the road of competitive games.
[Dedicated Combat Server]
In the current version, we use players to build hosts to meet the needs of multi-player games, but this practice has caused many problems that can not be solved, such as unable to optimize players' network delay, frequent disconnections, network fluctuations, unable to disconnect, unable to reconnect, unable to launch other games such as 2VS10, but also brings a lot of pressure for anti-cheating and later maintenance.
In version 2.0, we invested in building our own war server, solved all server problems in one fell swoop, and upgraded the security and technology of other servers to be able to host more players while strengthening the defense of the server itself.
[Global Operation]
In version 2.0, we will refine the operation strategy of the server. Players from different countries or regions will not only appreciate the national culture, but also experience customized game content. At the same time, more localized languages will be introduced so that friends from more countries or regions can experience the beauty of Chinese culture.
[Online Update&Dynamic Adjustment]
In version 2.0, we will add online updates, dynamic loading and other mechanisms. In addition to large version updates, you can avoid the problem of updating for as long as half an hour. Even without updating, you can quickly adjust the balance value in the game, and completely solve the problem that you have to wait a long time to start the game.
[Role Remake]
In the current version, the art performance of our characters is too mediocre, and the image design of Ling Tan and Yuan Ling is too ordinary. In version 2.0, we will reproduce the existing roles from the aspects of play, mechanism, model, dynamic effects and so on, in order to achieve the film and television level of character art.
The image of Yuan Ling and Ling Tan with distinctive characteristics and distinct personalities will bring interesting characters for players to experience, improve the artistic performance of the characters in the game, and bring us a more interesting way of playing and a more immersive experience.
[Game Plot]
In version 2.0, we will complement the original worldview and bring you a richer plot experience. Both Yuan Ling and Ling Tan will make more detailed and rigorous plot designs and make a real Psychic Investigation Bureau. So that everyone can experience the charm of the Tan Ling world in more detail.
[Individual Customization]
Version 2.0 will support you to customize your roles, and we will launch a new face-pinch system, which will allow you to play the role of Ling Tan, and will continue to grow in Psychic Investigation Bureau, and can even focus on the introduction of a new home system to dress up and transform Psychic Investigation Bureau. Players can experience leisure games such as breeding, manufacturing, fishing and so on in their own homes, in order to provide you with a variety of choices with high degree of freedom. I hope you can add emotion to experience the world of Tan Ling.
[Social System]
As the current version of the friend team function is inadequate in many aspects, in version 2.0, the home system will carry the function of friend team, players can invite friends into their homes to team up to start the game. In addition to the home system, we will also have a brand new team system, where players can create their own Psychic Investigation Bureau and grow up together in the Tan Ling world.
[About BUG]
BUG has always been the problem with the most feedback in the current version. Due to the underlying architecture and technical capabilities, many BUG that have lasted several versions have not been effectively solved, for which we apologize.
In the production process of version 2.0, we will focus on refactoring the underlying logic and try our best to avoid the emergence of BUG. At the same time, we will launch a more convenient and effective feedback channel, and strive to bring a better game experience for players.
[About Plut-in]
Plug-in is a very thorny problem for every game development team. in the past, we never stopped fighting against plug-in and tried to solve the plug-in problem in many aspects, which paid a huge price. in the previous version, due to the underlying architecture problems, although we can accurately identify all plug-ins, we can only address the symptoms rather than the root causes, and can only continue to ban violations.
So far, we have banned more than 10,000 illegal players, but in version 2.0, we have used the most advanced anti-cheating technology, and the most experienced practitioners in the industry have set up a special security team to solve all plug-in problems from the source, and perspective and other problems may not exist in version 2.0, hoping to bring you a fair and harmonious game environment.
In addition to the content listed above, we have a lot of content that we are working on, such as brand-new matching mode, ranking mode, OB mode, brand-new character development line and so on. Thank you very much for reading the above. In order to make a high-quality game, not only we developers need to work hard, but also need the advice and support of all players, we will work together to create an ideal soul search world!
We believe that a short stay is to build up strength and move forward more firmly.
We also firmly believe that in the near future, will have a better encounter with you!
