Greetings, detectives! Surely by now you have noticed some references and inspirations to film and pop culture during your investigations. In this weeks blog, we will be highlighting some of our favorites.
A lot of technology from the past merges with the future in Shadows Of Doubt. Mail, while still using paper products, is now distributed across the city through intricate tube systems called “Vacuum Mail”. Inspired by Terry Gilliam’s 1985 film, “Brazil”.
Enhancing your DNA sequence or getting an upgrade with a little bio-engineering has always been a popularly explored topic in the Sci-Fi Noir scene. Shadows Of Doubt brings this idea to you through El-Gens sync discs. A familiar concept you may have explored in “Bladerunner” or “Gattaca”.
Perhaps you like your inspiration less obvious…and to that we say, don’t investigate room #237…
If you find yourself itching for some more Noir content while off-duty in game, be sure to take a load off and flick on your T.V. for some entertainment all produced exclusively for Shadows Of Doubt.
We also have a fun Discord competition you can take part in where you can design a poster that will feature in-game if you win! Head on into the Shadows of Doubt Discord and check the Announcements channel for all the information
