Major bug fixed: 'The Vengeance' black screen
Some users reported a major bug when returning to The Vengeance. A black screen appears during the loading screen and crashes the game. It's fixed.
The Forge - Crafting system added
Now you can use the forge to improve your equipment!
What is the forge?
The forge is a place where you can improve your equippable objects with runes.
What kind of objects can be improved in the forge?
Weapons, armors, shields and equippable items can be improved with runes.
What are the runes?
Runes are objects with different powers and effects. Depending on each rune, you'll increase stats, add status effects and/or include magical elements when you add them to your objects.
Can I add any rune to any object?
No. Each object will have a different number of slots, depending on its type and level. Also, each slot works with a specific rune type. You can add one rune per each slot. So, the limits are the number of slots of the object, and the rune type you can use.
Where is the forge?
The forge is located in your ship, The Vengeance. You must talk with the NPC with the hammer you can see in the image above. If you need more information about the forge, there is a Codex entry. You can find it in the table, next to that NPC.
Cinematics improved
We want to avoid spoilers, so we won't detail the cinematics, just only mention the technical changes:
Completely fixed cinematics with new animations and camera angles:

- Fomorian World
Minor changes in cinematics:
- Lug
- Tarlock
New experimental feature: key binding
This is one of the most requested features from the community. Now, you can configure keyboard commands to match your personal taste. This also solves the control problem in French keyboard with AZERTY distribution.
As this is an experimental feature, you could find some issues. If this is the case, don't hesitate on reporting it in the forum,
Known issues
- Some users reported a major bug which prevents right click from working in some situations. We are working on this.
- Some users reported they can't play in Windows 7 & 8. Unreal Engine causes a compatibility problem since the latest update. They found a solution, and we are waiting for the patch on Unreal Engine. Please be patient, we'll fix this as quick as possible. This means, when they fix the problem and we were able to update the game with the solution.
- In some situations, changing the pet in the middle of a combat could crash the game. Although is not an usual issue, we are trying to fix it.
